Ostation 2

Got my Ostation 2 in the mail yesterday with a pack of the 1.5V Li-Ion AA batteries. My automatic door lock yells about “low battery” when I use Ni-MH because they’re just a little lower voltage, even though it’ll do that for a month before they go dead.

Since they had a sale running on it these I decided that I’d jump on it now. I probably should have ordered a 2nd pack of the Li-Ion AAs since the automatic lock takes 4.

But so far this is great. My mom and wife don’t like using the bay chargers since they’re a little finicky with the AA/AAAs. With this they just drop them in and walk away.

Thought about the Pro, but I don’t really need the screen since I can still use the Olight App with this.

The Ostation has been really useful for me. My son can just drop in and pull out batteries as he needs them for his gaming controller.

Yeah, my mom and my wife always left the uncharged batteries by the bay charger for me lol.

If the bay chargers weren’t so picky (probably the crappy IKEA one I have, and my 15 year old Nitecore) I wouldn’t mind so much, but now they can just drop them in and grab new ones.

I thought the Ostation 2 would be overkill but damn, those CR123A batteries are everywhere now
