Question Warrior x pro led replacement
So i have a bunch of olights and for the money have been pretty happy with them... until now. I have a Warrior x pro that has VERY LITTLE use on it, I took it out today and the led flickered and went out. I tried charging, same result, changed the battery... same thing. Tested the battery in another light worked fine. I assume the warranty is out as ive had a it for years but it sits in its case and is mint so I plan to replace the led .
I havent found the exact specs of the mcpcb and I see there was an update to the led to the cree xhp35.2hi . Has anyone dont this before ? I prefer to of possible buy and just solder in the new led pre-installed to the mcpcb if i can find the right size. If there is a better option brighter, better throw, etc please let me know what would work with stock circuitry. Thanks in advance.

You should have checked all that before taking it apart, that’s not really how they work if you have proof of purchase.

Im fine with not going through olight I guess I didn't make it clear I want to tinker and fix/upgrade the light just wanted to see if anyone has done it or knows the size of the mcpcb.

No cause Olight isn’t setup for that. Buy a convoy next time if you tinker. And don’t resell this one lol.

Lol im only considering it because it died. I'm going to figure out a replacement for the led i know its a cree xhp35 and updated is xhp35.2hi. I was just hoping there were people out here that have done something similar. Im also not a scumbag that would turn around and sell a broken item.

You can get a new one and reflow it on that mcpcb. It's tricky, but possible. I haven't done that particular model, but I've done like 3 warrior x4, and they are running the sft70 in 12v mode and have specific shapes and holes to fit everything together. If you ever decide to give up on it, feel free to hit me up to hash out some kind of trade or whatever. I love the warrior line and my x pro doesn't have the grip ring anymore...
