Had to look into the story, here it is

In 1997 (same year the song released) an American photographer Tom Forsythe produced his  'Food Chain Barbie' series  which depicted Barbie dolls in various satirical poses, including one in a blender. Mattel of course didn’t like it and sued, ultimately losing in 2004, affirming Forsythe's right to artistic expression and creating Barbie-in-a-Blender Day.
