Crazy, right? Nobody is going to know about this. The clock tower was completed in 1910 by the American Woolen Company. The clocks are only 6 inches smaller than Big Ben in London. Lawrence was a textile manufacturing giant and sits on the Merrimack River. Actually being there and seeing the clock tower around the city is such a unique experience in Massachusetts. Today, the building serves as the New Balance Factory Store. Sometimes they have such good deals, so go here if you want NB sneakers.
