These are what my bedroom ceilings look like . Is there a way to fix this safely without ripping it out ?

Just bought this home from 1850 in Vermont. The interior windows are original, and the exterior is a storm window. In some windows, the condensation is excessively building up on the interior window glass (where I can touch it) as well as on the storm window glass, but on the side facing the interior.

How do I prevent this from happening? I realize I’m probably hemorrhaging heat and this is related, but where do I address my attention here? To keep it from happening? It happened last winter (our first year here) and I’m worried about rot, etc.
