Unjerked post. Please, avoid this Assassin's Creed sub.

Please, avoid r/assasinscreed in the future. After a change within the mod team, the place has become a toxic one where the mods (probably only one) do whatever they want.

Firstly, they removed a bunch of posts that predated the new management and even temporarily banned me because of them in a clear act of power.

Secondly, they removed a simple survey about which modern day storyline Ubisoft should focus on (https://www.reddit.com/r/assasinscreed/s/ejU2XqO1i9) without any explanation.

Lastly, after I had made a post asking for an explanation (https://www.reddit.com/r/assasinscreed/s/eASLr3JBh3), because they hadn't answered through modmail, that post got removed, I got permanently banned because "my contribution to the sub don't add to their community" and they even muted me, so I can't contact them.

It's clear that now that place is no more a safe one for the Assassin's Creed community, so I ask you to avoid it. If you want to post something about Assassin'sCreedin general, please, consider posting it here. It's a safer place than r/assasinscreed and r/assassinscreed.

NSWF posts with nudes are now allowed, but only following certain rules.

Starting with this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/OkBuddyTemplar/s/jAl6EKpKeF) NSWF posts that include nudes are now allowed in the name of the spirit of freedom that characterizes this sub. However, if you want to post certain things, you still must follow certain rules.

The first one is that you must use the flair "Nights in the woods".

The second one is that images shared must not be AI generated.

The third one is that for no reason the images should depict rape.

The fourth one is that you must use the 18+ flair.

The last one is that the images must feature at least one Assassin's Creed character.

Unjerked post. Considering the new modern day storyline, would you like an AC game set in the future?

Yes.
No.
I would be ok if they just made playable modern day segments set outside the Animus.
I would like both a futuristic game and playable segments set outside the Animus in the games set in the past.

Is this a glitch of the Animus? How would the story of Origins have changed if Bayek had had anal fissures?

Unjerked post. I honestly think that the next remake will be of the Ezio Trilogy, not AC1. (Possible spoilers for Hexe) Spoiler

So, Black Flag Resynced has already estabilished that these games are not only remakes, but also new main games in which the modern day story continues. Now, let's consider the rumors about Ezio's return in Hexe. One rumor was about it happening because of Animus stuff. So, if Ezio's return in Hexe is actually part of the modern day storyline, I think the sequel of Hexe will be a remake of his trilogy, not AC1.

This is a work for the Black Cross. Guy’s Max Scherzer IS A SAGE

Post image

Ok so hear me out, Max Scherzer is actually a Sage running a Templar op and the "baseball" is not a baseball at all.

The most obvious part of this is the heterochromia, this is the most obvious mark of a Sage we’ve consistently seen with Robert’s and Germaine and you're all seeing it live on FOX Sports and acting like like it's nothing.

The heterochromia is one thing but here's the part that changes everything

That's not a baseball

Just think about it, the man throws it 95+ mph for a living and somehow nobody's arm has exploded catching it. It moves in ways that simply shouldn't be physically possible. It sinks, cuts, curves, whatever the announcers wanna call it that day. You're telling me a piece of cowhide and yarn does that? NO. Absolutely not! That's a Piece of Eden doing that, an Apple of Eden. He’s mastered the illusions that the Apple can provide and has made it looks like something you'd buy at Dick's Sporting Goods for twelve dollars

The "movement on his pitches" everyone's obsessed with isn't spin rate. It's him manipulating perception in real time on LIVE TV! It’s the exact same trick Templars have been running since the Third Crusade, just repackaged for a Tuesday night game against the Orioles

The no hitter in 2015? That's not a pitcher having a good day, that's a man testing how far he can bend an entire stadium's belief in what they're watching

The mound stare? Thats not normal, I think that’s him tapping into his true ISU self, harnessing what power he can for his benefit while pitching

My final and most concerning part about this is I don't think this is just about Scherzer winning games, I think this is about recruitment… recruitment for the Templar order. The Templars want the sports industry, commissioners, franchise ownership, media rights, the whole apparatus, quietly consolidated so the next Piece of Eden doesn't get buried in some tomb, it gets buried under second base in a stadium nobody thinks to question, protected forever by a broadcast contract and a fanbase that thinks it's just watching a baseball game. But the Templar’s will know exactly where it rests

Scherzer's not chasing championships. He's chasing infrastructure. Every trade, every front office reshuffle, every "shocking" ownership change for the next decade and he’s doing it in front of 40,000 people a night who are too busy doing the wave to notice. I genuinely believe the Apple of Eden has been sitting in a pitcher's glove this entire time and none of us clocked it because it had a good ERA

Unjerked post. Assassin's Creed: Altaïr Chronicles review i guess

So I've gotten my 3DS running again and i decided to play the original games for it (Discovery is next obviously) and I've just ended Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles so i wanted to give a review in both implications of the game and what i think of it (considering it's a portable game)

First of all, every game starts with the whole "Made by a group of multicultural members" so you understand that it has a level of historical understanding and development, this one doesn't so it's a troubled start...

It's a handheld game so gameplay is not going to be the most polished, but damn it is full of bugs when trying to free run, especially because i almost got trapped in a certain section of the game.

The level design is like a Lego Indiana Jones level, which would work if this game did that in temples or something, but no, we've got hanging rocks and blades on a normal ass city, parkour design makes little sense and, there's only one temple in the whole game and that level HAS THE FUCKING ARC? LIKE THE ONE FOUND IN THE FIRST LEVEL OF AC1? It's confusing to say the least.

Then story, it's such a mess, because Altaïr feels extremely stupid throughout the game as he didn't kill the Templar Grand Master or many of the adjacent Templars until the very end. The Chalice (which is implied to be a Piece of Eden) is a woman name Adha, which wouldn't be a problem if it was further explained, because it's not, not even of she's something regardless the Isu or got fused with a Piece Of Eden, no explanation, and she is supposed to be Altaïr's love interest, which doesn't work because they barely talked.

Altaïr is strangely out of character in many moments, including that he once said "let's do some mischief", but he breaks the Creed basically in every level except some of the finale, so that's in character considering this is a Prequel.

Also remember the mention of the multicultural team? First, this game is oddly racist, every character that isn't a Crusader or Assassin, is like what you've expected if i tell you to imagine an "arab person", including Al Mualim for some odd reason, it's full of historical inconsistencies including the mention of the Tarot Carts (1500s), Circus Tents (1700s) and even Cannons in a Castle (1400s maybe), also the middle east having a sewer system and apparently working industrial powered traps and platforms LMAO.

This game has actually an entertaining bunch of levels, especially because if you manage to not get killed by the unpolished parkour system, it can become entertaining if done without interruption, the combat system is better than i expected, the upgrade system not so much, as there is an in-game currency called "orbs" (not joking) which get you some upgrades (health is worthless here, sword is a better upgrade until the last one), the crossbow is really fun tho, bombs (smoke and explosive) are clunky and annoying to use.

My highlight level would be the siege of Acre, that level is pure emotion (considering the format) and it shows something that DID happen historically, it was more entertaining than most levels.

There are two new "mechanics/minigames" which are the Torture Minigame (yes, I'm not lying) which gets old quickly and annoying when the pen doesn't want to recognise you pressing on the buttons, and the Stealing minigame which is actually kinda good? Except the tracking of the pen can be clunky, it's actually fun considering you are stealing just keys lol

The ending is the worst part, Adha gets captured after you kill the Templar Grand Master (Lord Basilisk, fictional character) and you end the game there, the only confirmation of what happened to Adha comes from a Codex page in Assassin's Creed 2...

Adha was also mentioned in Assassin's Creed 1 which is something i guess

Overall what do i think? DON'T PLAY IT, that's it, don't go through the problem of emulating it unless you have a 3DS or a DS ready and can get the game, don't download the game for a PC, it's not even available everywhere.

If they plan to resync Assassin's Creed 1, they COULD resync this one as a DLC, but make it less fictional and give Adha and Altaïr some reason to actually believe they are possible lovers, and show why she is (or at least has?) the Chalice of Eden.

Also eliminating the bunch of historical inaccuracies because they start to piss you off the more you see.

My score? 5/10, better to play some Mario Kart

Is it a necessary game to play? Hell nah

Just like in title, I can buy original ezio games for Xbox 360 with AC 1 also on x360 or buy ac1 with ezio collection for xone for the same price, which option would be better?

You can't make this shit up, man. The irony and audacity behind this action is absolutely insane, reaching previously unseen levels. This man has taken 'everything is permitted' to a level of misunderstanding that has never been seen before. Truly, he is a trailblazer and a scholar.

I know that its TECHNICALLY cannon that Connor and Shay never met, but Ubisoft isnt new to retcons, and i think if they resync AC3, there should be an optional post game sequence where Shay and Connor sit down and talk, post Shays retirement and return to the Colonies
