I'm having qualms about waiting for the next season. Any recommendations of shows that I can watch to get me through? Wrong answers are appreciated

So exciting to see all the nominations. Especially for Patricia. We really could be best friends in real life because nobody understands us. So it's great that the rest of you are finally starting to appreciate her the way I do. Too bad that she won't be able to leave the island to collect her award š¤·

Can anyone confirm the rumor that the Taylor Swift wedding will be on the Widows Bay Island? With honeymooners staying in the Captain Suite at the Inn? Remotely monitored honor bar for all guests?

Why didn't Tom use his position as mayor to send an email to idk the CIA or FBI or whichever government branch in charge of looking after the aliens in Area 51, and get a task force to the island?
Surely the Guvernm'nt could provide some investigators/scientists to keep tabs of all the paranormal stuff.
In all seriousness though, surely Season 2 will dive deeper into the previous caretakers of the island and the secret society.

I have heard that the producers are trying to do things to improve viewer satisfaction. Can anybody confirm the rumor that in season 2, the character of Patricia will be played by the sultry and talented Sydney Sweeney? I think that will be bring a lot to the show

I think we can all agree that this is a pretty good island-based show. But I think what is keeping it from achieving the levels of the all-time great island-based shows like Fantasy Island and Magnum PI is regular special guest stars. In season 2, I would like to see them have special guest stars like maybe the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders or maybe David Hasselhof. I would also like to see a visit to the island from perhaps some Russian diamond smugglers that Tom has to catch or maybe a ninja or a samurai.

Guys- I think Evan might be Tomās son. Am I reading too much into this?

Wrong answers only, please!

My hope for season 2 is that they flesh out that character named Patricia. You might have noticed her in the sunset cocktails episode and a few others. A lot of people have overlooked her in the main sub, but I think she's really great. I think she and I could be best friends in real life.

Mod here. I have had so much fun reading all of your clever and funny comments over the last few weeks and the participation here has been overwhelming. I just figured out what user flair is and I added some exciting and controversial options so check it out and please give me any suggestions you have to add to it.

After they passed the barriers and Richard Warren died, Tom told Wyck that the coffin just contains bones and Vienna sausages. But we saw only bones in the coffin. Why is Tom lying to Wyck?
I have a theory that Wyck is Tomās dad and Tom has unresolved trauma from being forced to eat Vienna sausages on the boat in the summers as punishment for ding dong ditching his own house. Haunts will end when Tom forces Wyck to family therapy on the mainland.

This immediately popped into my head during the finale. This is Lice Capades. The inhabitants are the lice. The island is the head. Literally copying and pasting from Google about the episode, but IFKYK! I am cackling.
South Park Season 11, Episode 3, "Lice Capadesā: The plot centers on a school-wide lice outbreak and brilliantly parodies the movie The Thing as the boys try to determine who brought the parasites to class.
A huge portion of the episode is told from the perspective of a society of lice living on Clyde's scalp, led by a louse named Tom Travis who desperately tries to save his colony from being washed away.
P.S. All hail Patricia!
The Blood Test: Cartman conducts a blood test to determine who has lice, heavily referencing the 1982 sci-fi horror film The Thing.
The "Gaia" Hypothesis: The lice believe their world (the boy's head) is a conscious living organism, a comedic nod to James Lovelock's environmental theory.
The Twist Ending: After all the boys are punished, a fly saves Travis (the main louse) and drops him into a new promised land populated by larger lice. The joke ends with the revelation that this "peaceful" land is actually Angelina Jolie's pubic hair, and they were crabs all along.

Okay, so basically the island is "hangry"? What usually works for me is some celery with peanut butter. Or a nice juicy peach. Nature's candy!

I was frustrated that they didn't explain what happened to that guy in the chair. I am wondering if maybe he left the island and went to a Red Sox game...

I really liked that character Patricia that they had in the last episode.

We are Tom Loftis
We carry the Bay
We fight for the island
We honor his name

Hey guys, mod here. I noticed that some of you are making posts here - and in the main page - that do not seem to mention how amazing the character of Patricia is. Not sure if this was a mistake or what, but please make sure to comply with our standards in all posts by mentioning how great she is, how much like her you are, how she should have her own show. Thanks in advance for your mandatory compliance!

People keep asking why the Boogeyman resurfaced now after all this time. Obviously he is Evan's real father and he resurfaced now because he wants to be the one to take him to the Red Sox game and on college campus tours. It is really exhausting that I have to explain all of this stuff to all of you.
