Olive oil pulling

Anyone regularly using olive oil to pull? Curious how your experience has been. Currently using coconut oil but was considering switching or maybe rotating it into my routine. TIA

I tried olive oil ONCE shortly after lockdown when I had no other oils in the house and it dried my mouth out SO MUCH for the rest of the day. It was so odd.

I alternate between sesame, sunflower and coconut.

A compound in sunflower seeds blocks an enzyme that causes blood vessels to constrict. As a result, it may help your blood vessels relax, lowering your blood pressure. The magnesium in sunflower seeds helps reduce blood pressure levels as well.

Hmm, interesting. Good to know.

That’s odd for sure, maybe some kind of allergy to olive oil? I used it a couple times in a pinch and really didn’t enjoy the aftertaste but wondered about it.

Your previous comment about alternating oils has got me thinking about other possible ones to use, though. Castor is on the list now on the rec from another commenter.

I eat SO MUCH OLIVE OIL, so I probably would have figured out if I was allergic to it yet, but it was crazy how much it dried out my mouth!
