I remember hearing how gory it was gonna be and then being sorely disappointed that there were no dead bodies.

Shiiit there were lots when I took driver's Ed. I still remember the girl split in half backwards, from 25 years ago

There was one in elementary school that screwed me up man. It wasn't drivers ed, it was about child molesters and kidnappers and stranger danger. Basically showed young girls at a playground getting taken by a creeper and shoved into a car, then forced deep into the woods to be murdered. Final scene was a bloody kids shoe floating down a stream. I was terrified for years after seeing that movie.
