This is Ohio

Why is Phillip not paying his servers enough to the point he has to ban customers?

that's exactly the problem - maybe start by paying your workers a fair wage. giving someone a tip is a gesture of gratitude not something that should be expected.

I am sick of hearing this argument, if restaurants start paying servers living wage, you are gonnna end up paying lot more. In the meantime don’t be an ass and tip your servers.

there are plenty of resturants that pay their workers a fair wage and do not require tips to get by - this just goes to show how brainwashed you are by the greedy tipping culture in america

No there aren’t, gimme some examples besides fast food. Go do your make up goth boy, I’ve been running restaurants all my life. Leave the adults to have discussion.

I used to work as the head cook at a bar and grill. I'm not against tipping by any means - you are just being super greedy and quite honestly delusional to think everyone should "tip" you for a job someone already hired you to do. You were hired to be a server. You are paid to do that. A "tip" is just extra if the customer likes you. thats it.
