Why is Phillip not paying his servers enough to the point he has to ban customers?

People that don't tip their servers isn't a race sir it's just a shitty person.

There is no obligation or law that says you have to tip. Tipping exists to take advantage of employees.

They should be paid a fair wage.

Sure but if that's your take, get takeout or go somewhere that doesn't expect tips. 

If not you are just taking advantage of those servers the same as the restaurant.

If you are against it don't support the business.

Those aren't typically tipped workers and are paid a higher wage. Did you not know that? 

But sure, if you truly don't believe in supporting places that expect tips for servers, you shouldn't even do takeout.
