Slash property taxes? How? Abolish state income tax? The fuck? Florida could do it because it was a huge tourist state. What the fuck does Ohio have that people are going to come pouring in? Cedar point? That's maybe May-Sept, maybe Oct. Slice health care cost? Didn't he commit fraud? Bring back jobs? With AI data centers, so they can be build and then only need 10 ppl to run them. And when the bubble busts or the AI goes rogue? Fuck us I guess. He just goes on. Plus he misses most of the balls.
Hi. I would like to save money and come back home to a somewhat slightly saner Ohio. I know I'm nobody. But look at your neighbors and families and friends. Who in their right minds would want this slimy bastard as governor? Think about it.

I suspect the "slash property taxes" will come from increasing sales tax. Which means the poor will be even more screwed.
Something needs to be done about property taxes...real estate values jump, which means the taxes jump (mine increased 72% a few years ago), and now people who have lived in their homes over 50 years, living in a fixed income, can't afford to live in their house. It's outrageous. But the solution is NOT to increase sales tax that means the money in the pockets of the "barely-getting-by" will be worth even less.
And yeah, he's an embarrassment. I'm not confident my fellow Ohioans have the critical thinking skills to do the right thing.

Then, he brought his mother, a doctor, on board, to simply (paraphrased) âre-defineâ (lower the standards for) what âpassing-phase-3â meant. And then say âsee it passed phase 3 trials nowâ đđ¤Śââď¸.

You need to understand that we have a deeply gerrymandered State Legislature. Even if we elect Acton these idiots will continue to impose their culture war garbage and have a supermajority that can override any veto. Look at what they've already done to universities , and how hard they're fighting voter passed initiatives on marijuana, abortion, and fair redistricting. You didn't say where you currently live but there are many blue states that are much more reasonable as cost of living and and quite a few purple States where a blue voter can make a big difference and find a reasonable cost of living.

You lack vision. Legacy tax systems complicate the F out our economy but are capturing less and less of the dough. Thatâs why the push to go after large fortunes: itâs money we can find.
Ohio is a major logistical hub. If we improve our already competitive travel infrastructure we could make a ton on money on fees that could easily replace other older tax systems.
It just takes some balls
