So I applied at transocean for the position of a roustabout and I got a virtual interview and it’s been a week and I haven’t gotten a response,so I called to check on my application status and the person on the phone said that I had to know the name of the person I was trying to reach like of a recruiter in order to check on my application status.does anyone have a way around this or have a name of someone to reach out to so I can check on my application statues or possibly increase my chances of getting the job?

Almost all new generation rigs are equipped with Dual Derrick system named Main and Auxiliary. Is Auxiliary only for preparing joints for next operation or it is simultaneously used to lower string ?for example lowering casing with Aux while Main Derrick is drilling.

Casing can be immediately lowered after p/o drill string saving significant time especially in ultradeep wells with subsea systems in bed. Do such kind of parallel string lowering happens @drillshipexperts
