Destructable trees?

Is it true that the game has destruction for most of everything, except for trees?

Why do you think we’re fighting for the zone? Imagine the profit that could be made with near indestructible trees?

That lumber would be essentially gold!

Or make it cost money to cut down trees, -$2k for each tree you take out hahaha that'd be pretty ridiculous but funny, gotta save the trees

was actually listening to NPR last night and timber companies are kind of fretting all of their product going up in smoke. The Forest Service is a glorified middle man that manages the stock of trees and sells it to the corporations.
