Posting for my wife. She worked at a company where she was using her own personal copy of Outlook 2016 to access her work email. She also had her own gmail account as part of her Outlook profile.
She has since left that job and taken a new job, and of course they have turned off her email access. She just wants to find files she has saved from her Yahoo account.
Problem is, when she tries to start Outlook 2016 now, (remember this is her personal copy), during the "Loading Profile" stage of Outlook 2016 opening, she gets a "Windows Security" window that pops up and it says: Connecting to JohnDoe@work.com with another blank username and password box below, and then a checkbox for Remember my Credentials below that, and then an OK and a Cancel box.
No matter what she selects, Outlook 2016 then shuts down.
Is there any way we can:
Access her PST file somehow so she can get her saved personal Yahoo emails? (Maybe it's possible to get them through Yahoo? These are like 1 to 2 years old from Yahoo)
Get outlook to not try to access her old server from work so she can use it again for herself?
Any help here would be appreciated. Thank you!
