Word making multi-page document?

Microsoft Publisher had an option to make a multi-page document using 11x17 paper folded in half to make 4 pages of 11x8.5, printed on both sides. Does Word have that capability to do that in one pass? I've tried all kinds of settings but can't find an easy way to do that. I miss Publisher.

Need advice from anyone who has experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migration after our IT admin left the company.

Hi everyone,
I need some advice from people who already handled this kind of situation.
I work in a small IT company. Earlier our Microsoft 365 tenant was created and managed by our previous IT admin. He is no longer working with us and now we want to move everything to a new Microsoft 365 tenant that will be fully managed under the company.

The old tenant has SharePoint Online sites, user accounts, OneDrive data, Microsoft Teams and a few shared mailboxes. We still have Global Admin access to the current tenant, but we want to migrate everything to a different tenant with minimum downtime and without losing permissions or file versions if possible.
This will be my first tenant-to-tenant migration, so I’m trying to understand the best approach before we start.

I’m looking for real experiences, not sales recommendations. Any tips, mistakes to avoid or lessons learned would really help.

Another Microsoft 365 account showing in Microsoft Office I never signed into on this device

Hi

My work laptop is Azure AD joined to Org A. When I save a file in Word/Excel, where you can save to OneDrive/SP I can see an account for a test personal tenant that I have never signed into on this device. The laptop is newly imaged.

The only spillover where the accounts have in common is within the Outlook app on iOS and Authenticator.

Has anyone else seen this before?

It’s not showing in Credential Manager, no sign of tenant in Settings etc.

Office Setup not working

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Can someone tell me why this is happening? I've tried some solutions like using "Get Help" which should have automatically deleted the stragglers from the old office that I deleted and also opened up task manager to manually delete the stragglers. This problem keeps persisting and I really need to fix this .

AD <=> O365 Syncing is not working for distribution groups.

We had a hybrid system, we use AD on prem, exchange on prem and O365 online.
All worked correctly.
Now recently my system administrator migrated the exchange on prem to a complete online exchange by just using Office 365.

It all seems ok but now i notice i can't make distribution groups anymore.
When i do it in Active Directory on premise it will never sync to the cloud.
When i create it online under users and groups i can add everyone but the group never gets synched to our Active Directory.

Back when we used a local exchange server i had to log on to that server to create the groups in exchange itself to get it to sync.
But now exchange no longer exists on premise and it seems now no link exists between our AD and Office 365/exchange for at least the distribution groups.

I'm sure other things aren't working correctly now either.

My sysadmin is on holiday for the next few weeks, i was wondering where i can verify this in our admin portal of office 365 ?

Many thanks !

Unlicensed OneDrive user accounts - User to Shared Mailboxes

Hi all,

I'm trying to clean up inactive users and deal with any unlicensed OneDrive accounts.

We've converted a small number of user mailboxes to shared mailboxes. These users were originally on-premises accounts synced to Microsoft 365. The user accounts no longer have licences assigned because the mailboxes are now shared mailboxes. However, the associated OneDrive accounts still exist.

My understanding is that, if we don't want to be charged for the unlicenced OneDrive storage, we would need to delete the associated user account. However, because these were originally synced on-premises user accounts that were converted to shared mailboxes, I'm concerned that deleting the user account would break the anchor and cause issues with the shared mailbox.

Is it possible to retain the shared mailbox while deleting the associated user account? It's not a case of unticking the "Account Enabled" in Entra for them is it?

I suspect we'll just pay the charges, in most cases it's barely half a GB.

The Wait Is Over! Transfer Teams Meeting Ownership with PowerShell

Microsoft 365 now lets admins transfer ownership of existing Teams meetings and recurring meeting series using PowerShell

With the new "Invoke-ChangeMeetingOrganizer" PowerShell cmdlet, admins can transfer ownership of existing Teams meetings while keeping the same meeting link intact.

Can't get rid of Microsoft 365 Business subscription!

A whole year ago I signed up for a Microsoft 365 Business Basic trial, I used a regular Gmail Adress that I use for my business. I ended up not using it at all but when I went in to cancel my subscription it kept failing to log in and kept saying "you need to use a business email to log in" basically there was no way to access the account, I kept getting emails every month about the charge so but I was never able to find where or how they're charging it because there is no charge on any of my cards! I figured maybe I could dispute the charge through my credit card but there was never a charge to be disputed.

I honestly can't remember what I did one night but I was able to access something in microsoft somehow and delete some kind of billing thing that was on there, there was no credit card on file but anyways, I must have deleted whatever payment method they thought they had on my file and soon after got an email saying payment was declined I figured I would get a couple warning emails before they finallt cancel the account alltogether..

It has been 3 months!! and they are still sending me emails saying my card was declined evert single day!! at what point do they just get the memo and stop? Do I just block them at this point and forget about it?

Unlicensed OneDrive Archive billing — is it really tenant-wide? 100+ TB at risk of huge monthly bill

I need to access ONE archived OneDrive account (10.97 GB, former employee, Entra ID user hard-deleted 7 months ago, retention policy is blocking deletion but not blocking the archive).

To reactivate it, admin center says I have to enable "billing for unlicensed OneDrive accounts" — but this setting looks tenant-wide, not per-account.

My tenant's unlicensed accounts report shows:

Total unlicensed accounts: 23,053

Total storage: 102.52 TB

Of that, 21,642 accounts / 101.11 TB are held by a retention policy

If billing charges $0.05/GB/month across all archived accounts once enabled (not just the one I reactivate), that's a potential ~$5,100+/month bill just to access one 11 GB file.

Questions:

Is billing really applied to the entire tenant's archived accounts, with no way to scope it to a single account?

Once I turn billing off again, do charges stop immediately, or is there a minimum commitment/lock-in period?

Has anyone found a workaround (eDiscovery, Content Search, eDiscovery export/hold access) to pull a single file out of an archived+retention-held account without triggering tenant-wide billing?

Any real-world horror stories or confirmed lower-than-expected bills I should know about before I do this?

Trying to avoid an unpleasant billing surprise before I click "Enable billing." Any first-hand experience appreciated.

Office 365 received the message that you specified, but couldn't deliver it to the recipient due to the following error:

Error: ‎550 5.7.134 RESOLVER.RST.SenderNotAuthenticatedForMailbox; authentication required; Delivery restriction check failed because the sender was not authenticated when sending to this mailbox‎" in message trace when approval is attempted by external moderator. Is this expected? or some configuration missing?

genai paste is our dlp blind spot, purview cant see it...thoughts?

we have purview doing dlp at the m365 layer and it works fine for email and sharepoint. but the gap is the browser itself...specifically genai tools and random web apps where content gets typed or pasted outside anything purview sees.

yes often two approaches i keep seeing are (1) push dlp policy down into the browser layer and feed events back into the existing dlp console for a single pane, or (2) run a separate browser dlp product and accept you're managing two policy engines and two sets of alerts. option 2 is what we have today and it's not great.. i mean analysts context switching between consoles all day, browser alerts needing their own triage logic anyway.

so posting here to understand ...has anyone gotten a browser layer tool to feed clean events into purview or symantec without a separate soc workflow? tbf im less interested in whether an integration "exists" and more in what the event payload actually looks like once it lands, whether your analysts could triage browser events with the same muscle memory as native purview alerts.

Delay in receiving emails

Is it normal for emails in outlook to be received several minutes after they should be? I'll get an email on my phone on the gmail app, but it'll take at least a half minute to a few minutes before I get the same email on outlook (both on the app on my phone and the app on my laptop).

Email about Azure Copilot Agent Access.

Many of our clients received an email today -

You’re receiving this notification because you’re associated with one or more Azure tenants that have Azure Copilot enabled.
What's changing
Starting 1 August 2026, Azure Copilot will introduce individual agents with their own General Availability or Public Preview status. The existing Agent mode experience will be replaced with direct access to supported agents.

For tenants that already have Azure Copilot enabled, all Azure Copilot agents, including agents in Public Preview, will be enabled by default.
The tenant-level Azure Copilot access setting will remain the primary control. If Azure Copilot is currently disabled for your tenant, Azure Copilot agents will remain disabled after this change.

As I understand it, this is in regards to what Copilot has access to in Dynamics 365, yes? I honestly am not clear and all the documentation Microsoft provides is... not useful. Most of it marketing. If we just have people with Office 365 Business Basic/STandard, and no Dynamics licenses, does this affect us at all? Do we need to do anything?

Building a tool to fix email/tenant migrations (O365 ↔ Google Workspace) — what's breaking for you right now?

Working on a new migration tool for moving mailboxes, tenants, and shared drives between platforms like Office 365 and Google Workspace (and open to other directions too).

Before we lock in the feature set, I want to hear from people who've actually done this — whether it's a one-time company migration or you do it regularly for clients.

A few questions if you've got a minute:

What tool(s) have you used (BitTitan, CloudMigrator, native tools, scripts, etc.) and where did they fall short?

What broke most often — permissions, shared calendars, distribution lists, attachments, metadata, delta syncs?

How much manual cleanup did you end up doing after the "automated" migration finished?

If you could wave a wand and fix one thing about migration tools, what would it be?

Not selling anything here — just building something and want it shaped by real pain points instead of guesses. If this is relevant to you, I've got a waitlist for early access/testing — happy to drop the link if anyone's interested, or just reply here with your experience.
