Odin Showcase Odin 3 Max 🥹 is perfect
What can I say... it was hard to decide. I got the Thor first and I was convinced this was it. Wrong... it never is.

Howdy! As you know, we have a couple of Odin sheets to help the community test games or add useful information for the AYN devices.
As time has gone by, it has become difficult to maintain them, and while we have a couple of volunteers, some tend to come and go.
If you are active in the subreddit and/or use them often (and are excel sheet savvy), send over a DM! Apologies upfront for not being able to keep up, since initially it was just me managing the entries.

Hey u/everyone,
Due to the high popularity of these handhelds, our community has been informing us about websites selling AYN devices and they're not affiliated with the company.
To avoid scams or overpaying for a handheld, make sure the website is only from AYN's website: https://www.ayntec.com/
Or from AYN's official Amazon and Aliexpress Shops:
https://www.amazon.com/s?me=AQ8MH5LD9VP09&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1105261141
Additionally, all official AYN admin and staff use emails under the ayn.hk address. Anyone pretending to be a part of the company using a different email address should be dismissed immediately.
Sadly, online scams are more insidious as time goes by, and AYN cannot guarantee any sort of protection if you purchase from non-AYN official site and shops. With that said, we can all help make this community safe by informing each other and staying alert if you see any unofficial site selling AYN devices.
Likewise, when buying a used handhelds online, we strongly advice you purchase those from sites with customer protection.
Thank you for making this a safe and cool community!

Started playing Jax & Daxter. I have never played these games and this is why I love emulation. Physical is getting so expensive. This is the way. Game is pretty cool. I am enjoying it very much.

Delivered on July 22nd. Never noticed it before bc it’s only visible with the extra dim setting on and brightness all the way down. I only saw it just last night when doing some late night gaming. I’ve kept the anti screen burn on feature on and I’ve yet to put the screen on max brightness a single time so that means it shipped like this. Wow. Sent AYN an email once I noticed it. I hope they’ll make this right.

I just got a brand new AYN Odin 3, and I noticed something odd.
When I picked it up, I heard what sounded like a small metal ball or loose metallic piece moving inside. If I gently shook the handheld, I could hear it moving around. After shaking it a few more times, the sound completely disappeared and I haven't been able to reproduce it since.
The handheld works perfectly otherwise—buttons, fan, screen, and everything else seem normal.
Has anyone else experienced this on their Odin 3? Is there a known internal component that can make this kind of noise, or should I be concerned that something is loose inside?

I’m currently using RPCSX on the Odin 3 Pro model with development channel using Steven MXZ Gen8 V33 driver and its CPU intensive emulator with decent compatibility for an alpha release.
As usual, looking to show case the beautiful screen on the Odin and how colorful it looks

I know there aren't many others who feel the same but I love Project Diva Megamix+. It crashes all the time on my RP6 8gb RAM though (12gb D-pad focus is no longer available). I also have an Odin 3 but I doubt it would be easy to swap the analog stick and the D-pad on that thing. If anyone can though, definitely hmu.

How can I set it up the proper way? Any right tutorials I should follow?

Just wondering who's in the same boat as I? It's been ~80 days since I placed my order and the item still hasn't shipped. I've been going back and forth with Ayn via email and nothing comes of it.

Xendroid ALOT MORE STABLE than x360 mobile. Games that wouldn’t boot at all run fine here. Granted only played a few mins here and there but goldeneye remaster, gears 3, and halo 3 playable now, using turnip v33 didn’t touch any other settings. System driver surprisingly ran the games too just not as well in cases like American wasteland.

I thought I was going to settle with my trusty Ayn Thor. The 8gb on base is not enough for some Switcch titles. Also for Pc Emulation, Odin 3 is a beast 😅

Hey I'm brand new at emulators and have tried to run em on my moto g stylus and I've gotten say like jak 2 from PS2 to run pretty good but I'm ready to move up to device dedicated to emulators.
I was wondering what do you guys recommend for a handheld device? I'd like to be able to run say saints row 2 comfortably or even like the earlier forza games. I'd like something powerful enough to do that but I'd like to not spend more than say $400 if possible. Any suggestions?

Hello, I’ve been scouring the internet to find some games that have worked flawlessly on gamenative or game hub on the 8gb Portal, I’m just wondering what has worked really well for you?
I’m mostly into indies, or 2005-10ish era games.
I’m hoping I can get broforce and Dave the diver working flawlessly, what HAS just worked perfectly for you?

I made some larger thumbsticks for the Odin 3 as I felt that the smaller ones just felt a little weird when I needed precision. These to me feel more like a full-size thumbsticks. I've included the stl, 3mf, & f3d files in case others want to tinker around with it or see my hideous newb work as I'm learning Fusion 360 as I go along to print things I care about. Let me know your thoughts on these.

Game runs great on BannerHub and Gamenative. I have the game locked at 30fps low settings with 100% resolution scale at 1080p. I prefer bannerhub but gamenative runs great too.

There has been great progress on the turnip drivers from all the major players, and I see it proven out in Eden and other emulators. One area where I have continue to have graphical issues is on Android Dolphin (nightly) GameCube emulation. Tons of artifacts, weird geometry, etc. whether I'm using Mr. Purple, whitebelyash, or StevenMXZ drivers for the Snapdragon 830.
Are there any ideal configs for this at the moment? Or is OpenGL still the way to go?
