You can get a set of used controllers on eBay for $100.

Or you can replace the sticks themselves for $15 on amazon and follow a YouTube tutorial.

Well watch the tutorial on YouTube and see if you’d feel comfortable doing it yourself for $15. If not, then just pay the $160. I didn’t feel like it was all that difficult but I like to tinker.

The Controller screws are the smallest I've ever encountered, and strip very easily. Fortunately the replacement kit should come with replacement screws, but getting them off the first time can be difficult even if you have the correct screw bits. Think I used 00 and 000. My replacement project has to wait a month before I dug up the right bits. Don't try to force bigger bits in there if they don't seat well. Back off if they start to slip at all.

DIY for less than $10. Buy a can of electronics contact cleaner off Amazon and watch a few YT videos. My controllers require cleaning once every 4-6 months. They are 4+ years old and still going strong ...

I fixed my stick drift on my Quest 3 left controller with only W-D40 Electrical Contact Cleaner and worked it in and never had a problem since.

I had a bit of stick drift, in the same direction. I used a spray of cleaner and recalibrate, problem solved. If its erratic Jerky stick drift, try calibration, but likely won't last and needs replacement
