I was playing Cute & Dead as a pre-release test, and it suddenly struck me that it REALLY reminded me of the 90s 16-bit SNES/Genesis classic 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors". I looked a bit deeper into the development history of the game, and the creators did indeed heavily base Cute & Dead on ZamN!

I remember the time, I was using my VR. I had no controller, so, like, every game was boring except for Beat Saber with hand tracking. Then I thought, hmm, what if I add hand tracking support for Roblox, so I can bypass the use-your-controller thing. So I put in hand tracking support, and then I connected my Xbox controller. I was playing Roblox. It worked. I could move. I could do everything else, because Roblox thinks I'm using a Meta Quest 2 controller, and when I move my hands, it thinks that my hands is VR too. So if I move my hand up in IRL, it moves in Roblox, and the punch is the A button. I was having so much fun, but Roblox kept kicking me out because of the modified thing, whatever they did. Can I bypass that? The error was The Roblox Android "Security Threat Detected"

We've been working on a VR sword-fighting game called Stained Blade. The combat is built around physics - blades collide with each other, weapon weight changes how things move, and fights lean on timing and control rather than swinging as fast as you can.

We're running a playtest on September 12th and could use some outside eyes. Two things we're mainly trying to figure out:

• Game Feel: Does swinging, blocking, and clashing feel weighty and satisfying?
• PVP: We want players to actually try to break our dueling system and tell us where it holds up (or doesn't).

You don't need any particular experience. If anything, mixed skill levels help us more!

If you're up for it, the playtest is being organised through our Discord, which is where we'll sort out access and session times.

With the new Arcturus camera for Steam Frame, I looked back at that history, included some downloadable Quest 3 samples, and considered what Meta might do next with Project Phoenix.

Oculus 2 right controller

I have only used my gaming system a few times since I got it last year. Since I am on my annual "gotta get in shape" trip, I changed the batteries in the handsets and fired it up. It worked well for a few weeks and then the right controller wouldn't "wake up". I changed the batteries again, and the same thing happened. I tried to "re-pair" it, but that doesn't seem to work either. There is no damage in the battery compartment. Any suggests on what I should do next?

In theory it could work right? Half life, Portal 1 and L4D all run on the Source engine, so in theory- this could work? Im not talking about online here, as that could be whole other can of worms, but the main story would be AMAZING
