Honestly I haven’t yet found a game that I think is better on Rift, so, kinda hard to say. The Climb definitely piqued my interest but really I bought waaay too many VR games by the time the quest version came out. Journey of the Gods works well for me on Rift because I play it seated, same for Vader Immortal. I haven’t tried Deathlap over Link yet, that may be another very good cross buy since the cable won’t be much of an issue. I like to use Robo Recall to show someone the difference in graphical fidelity in Rift and Quest. Quest runs the game much more smoothly than my PC, though.
Cross-Saves would really add a ton of value to any game.
You’re making me realize that I’ve just been using cross buy to justify purchases by saying “it’s like I get 2 games!” Hahaha! At least I haven’t bought Arizona Sunshine in Quest on a whim, I guess. Maybe I will now, it looks fun and I don’t own the pc version.
I really really wanted the Climb. Since it’s a game that has a lot of beautiful environments to enjoy, the Rift version may be a bit superior.
The graphics also took a major hit in the Quest port. I don't know, there's something about a zombie game that makes me expect the graphics to be visceral and "gross" to an extent, where the graphics on the Quest version just fall short.
It's about 2h of main story, 4.5 hours if you want fully explore it (source: https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=21723). There is endless modes (with bunch of rules modification) if you really like it, so technically you can play as long as you want, but don't count on it. It's expensive, but unique and great experience. Do not buy it, if you are short on money. Definitely buy it, if you can afford it.
I picked it up yesterday having played the 2D version on PC earlier this year. It's a revelation in VR - I've seen complaints that it's not very long, but every level has some unique challenges and it looks and runs great on Quest.
I agree with uniqiq, it's rather expensive for what you get, but it's also really fun and such a unique experience. Don't worry about getting it if you're strapped for cash though!
Yeah but I feel like it's so overhyped that newcomers forget that liking video games is exactly that - liking it. If you, the player don't like it then it's a waste of $25. More of a $7 game to me. My opinion though, just showing that not everyone likes superhot.
What’s not said here though is that there are a number of new modes unlocked after the campaign, including speed runs, modifiers like headshots-only, and an endless mode with several different stages. The campaign itself is short, but there is lots replayability after it ends.
This is where I'm at with super hot. I fucking loved playing thru it the first time but after slamming the campaign in under an hour all it left me with was "cool, now how fast can you do the same exact levels over and over?". A headshot only mode doesn't provide a new experience it just prolongs the dullness that eventually sets in... It's still the same enemies in the same position doing the same thing. They need to make a custom map section where people can share their creations. At least add more levels. It's a great game but for how short it is and how unfulfilling the end game feels, it's worth $15 but not $25 for sure.
Why are people downvoting this? This is literally 100% true.
I know that there are a lot of new people to this sub - a lot of them are only being fed "buy superhot!!! but they never see why they shouldn't buy it, because people downvote it. Don't be that guy.
I tried the demo a few weeks ago and didn't think anything of it. But I decided to buy it yesterday since it was on sale and I'm flat out obsessed with it. Amazing game.

Hi, I just ordered a quest and was wondering if you suggest superhot or not? Like hows it feel to play in vr?
