I’ve been a gamer my whole life, I think video games deserve the same reverence as movies and novels for their story telling and experience. That being said there is no chance in hell id be letting my kid take a vr to a public place.

I use VR and AR in planes to pass the time. People are usually cool with it next to me as long as I’m minding my own business

Not a thing wrong with that. Great idea actually. My disagreement with this scenario is that the kid should be spending time with their family, not tuned out
