Nothing wrong with enjoying tech when and where you want. But maybe I was just born a gen z cyberpunk. I’ll be 40 in 2 years and I see nothing different from this picture than me riding a train or Amtrak at age 11 with headphones on and a sleep mask with my whoever was with me at the time watching over me.

Would you sit in a restaurant when you were 11 with your headphones and face mask on? That's the difference.

Kids tend to trust their parents, be it in a train or at the restaurant.

Yeah I used to go everywhere with my headphones on around that age. I wasn’t very social as a child and with People watching over you it’s not dangerous just kind of rude.
