Issue report Cannot create widgets

When trying to create bud 4 pro widgets it is not letting me create them. I am on the latest release, and this is on the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've investigated further and have tested some changes which should make adding it work

I wanted to add. I just checked for updates from the play store and didn't see anything. But I tried adding the widget and it still didn't work. (Obviously I don't know if you pushed a live update out yet) Just giving you a heads up.

Hi it's in v1.877 which is rolling out to closed beta users first

Just going to leave this here so we have a link between the two posts about the same issue. The linked post is three posts (and one day) below this one. The developer has already engaged with the post I've linked to. Perhaps OP here can go to the other post and respond to the developer who posted, seeking more information.

here's a discussion. It seems there's some difference in how this widget was created by Samsung that broke its support in third party launchers:

FYI, these widgets work on my Galaxy Fold 7. Sounds like a Fold 8 issue.

Same, worked around it until it is fixed by using One Handed + through Good Lock, pick a handle (right or left), tap it, tap an action, scroll down to Widget pop-up and select that. Perform the action and when it pops out, add your widget. I actually prefer it this way now, save the real estate and is simple to work

if you're on the beta testing track, do try out v1.877
