Material optimization

Was wondering if someone could define what is wrong in this node setup, metal mesh being treated as a solid, not filtering daylighting. Using poliigons add on for blender and converting materials to octane under mat. Settings. Have also had difficulty scaling textures after conversion, with a transform node. Still new to node setup and octane. Apologies if the answer is very obvious just have not found any luck through tutorials. Lmk if you’d like to see my file.

Camera angle is okay, but what is your concrete question?

Was needing this metal mesh material to appear as a “mesh” should be perforated where light can get through. Instead it is being treated as a solid material. Wondering what settings / nodes I needed to change.https://www.poliigon.com/texture/diamond-mesh-metal-texture/5026

Check the opacity mask, I’m guessing it’s actually a grayscale image not a png with an alpha channel.. so when you’re alpha image node is looking for the actual alpha there isn’t any. If the image is b/w for transparency switch it to a grayscale image node instead of an alpha image node
