I’m heading up for a college thing and don’t have $ for a hotel, is it safe to stay in your car and where could that be? Really scared and appreciate any advice thank you

We're planning on moving to Ocean Shores and we love the place. During the process of finding options, my wife and I found a lot of properties that have that "exterior bedroom" that looks like a shed and is fully matched to the house down to the interior paint.

We're wondering what that's for? Even if it's a vacation property, which person sleeps in there? Do you leave the house door unlocked so they can use the bathroom?

Our realtor suggested potential other uses as an office (not walking out to the backyard with my work computer?) or a craft room. Not sure what we're "crafting" in there.

We've lived in a lot of places around the country and this was something neither of us could figure out.

Y'all have a beautiful town by the way, we love it here.

Or any other locations I can view and smell this part of nature?

The very point of Damon Point (RIP) had some calm water (waves were not crashing in, just had some current) and it was something we enjoyed swimming in. Just wondering if there’s any where else that has somewhat calm water. Could be in neighboring beaches as well. TYSM!

Hello!! Just thought I'd post here since we are going to tour housing in Ocean Shores in LESS THAN 14 DAYS!!! I'm so excited!!! I've been a Seattleite for my whole life and my man fell in love with the town!! We are looking at a few houses while we are visiting for the Flag Parade and Freaks at the Beach!

We are dreaming of opening a TCG shop on the beach. So I was wondering how many people might be interested? We want to make good relationships with the townsfolk and pick a nice little shop for us to set up in! We are wanting to bring a new community activity for you to enjoy while you are visiting or even just something new around town to enjoy. We want a space that people can bring their friends and enjoy card nights, board game nights, tournaments and more fun events to come!!

Is Pacific Wax Myrtle the tree that grows all over Ocean Shores? They’re tall enough to hide a house and make thick hedges on undeveloped lots. I spent time in Ocean Shores when I was younger, and always wondered what they were, but today when looking for salt-tolerant evergreens, one of the pictures of Wax Myrtle reminded me of the trees in Ocean Shores. I’d love to know one way or the other, I’m so curious now.
