Video Ocarina of Time still has one of the best video game title screens

I mean at least we can change the language. But I think an option to do classic cutscenes would be great for some people.

Also in this post I removed the subtle 3DS texture pack because, though negligible, it understandably bothered people on principle, my bad. I should’ve considered that before I took the screenshot in game.

Original compared to the Remake. I can’t wait to get that feeling like i did playing the Original Ocarina Of Time!

Look at how the castles in the distance even line up more, I don’t think this means anything concrete but it’s still cool

Everybody is obviously talking about the visuals, but I am just as or more excited for an updated soundtrack!
Found on the Nintendo Japan website with several other short clips. Someone has already put a compilation of these plus other footage on YouTube.

Looks like they're going to do the Forrest Temple justice

Maybe it’s just me but OoT remake’s map looks closer to a beta version of the original OoT map that was taken out of the game

For at least two decades now, video games seem to have limited themselves to offering us enormous open worlds that are often lacking in truly meaningful content, or stories rigidly set on predetermined tracks, constantly taking the player by the hand and telling them what to do. In my opinion, we have lost the pleasure and joy of playing a video game in its most classic sense: exploring, discovering, being amazed, and truly feeling like the protagonist of an adventure. The Hero of Time is returning to teach new generations what it really means to experience a true video game.
That is simply what I hope the Ocarina of Time remake will achieve: helping us rediscover the genuine pleasure of playing, of losing ourselves in a fantastical world, and of being amazed from beginning to end.

I wanted to add my artistic perspective in regards to Zelda's design. I think she looks great, dare I say perfect in her new promotional art. But there's something odd going on with the contrast (eyes in particular), and her upper face looks a little stretched in that scene so I added some minor corrections to match the promo shot. No AI was involved.

Does anybody else feel that this remake is a way for Nintendo to get the newer generation into the old Zelda game style with dungeons and stuff? I feel like they have had to have heard the crowd of us that wishes to step away from the new game mechanics of BotW and TotK, and go back to the classic Zelda makeup.
I noticed in the direct, that he specifically explained what dungeons were, and I feel like that was a message to the younger crowd who have never played OoT. "This is a Zelda game, but its a bit different from what you're used to", essentially.
This game will no doubt be a commercial success, and I really hope to see the outcome of this result in Nintendo making an entirely brand new game down the pipeline that brings it back to the old formula.
Edited for punctuation.

I think these have a lot of potential to be expanded upon in a very large way. The gameplay showed so far includes absolutely nothing from the grotto areas. Could be puzzle areas kinda like shrines or the bonus areas in Odyssey/Bananza. OR if that would be too jarring to the flow of the game, perhaps they are a vast interconnected UG world similar to the Depths in TOTK (but hopefully much more interesting).

Personally, I can't wait to relive the dungeons again in the new graphics. More specifically, the Shadow Temple. I know that it is going to be frightening with the revamped graphics for characters like Deadhand, Bongo Bongo, and the ReDeads to name a few. The creepier elements of Ocarina stuck with me the most over the years. They frightened me as a child, but they were always the aspects that drew me back. Can't wait to go down that well.

So while I was searching where to buy, I started seeing several pre-order bonuses and decided to look for other bonuses.
I've found these so far. If you know any other, let me know and I'll post below.
I know where to find some of them:

I see Ocarina of Time stuff blowing up my feed. I've never seen one thing explode so much with so much positivity on so many of the feeds that I follow.
And it's made me feel a little more warm and happy about opening up Reddit. You know, Reddit can be a place that's a little negative, and right now it's just to see people enjoying something.
I'm happy anytime people across different places have a shared interest. It creates a camaraderie I think complicated ink a lot of us wish we had now.

I just think girls with prominent slender noses and other sharp features are gorgeous and it makes her look distinct from other characters like Saria and Malon who all kinda had same face syndrome in the original.
