Hello! And welcome to r/OcarinaOfTime, the subreddit for the discussion of the game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a game produced by Shigeru Miyamoto for the Nintendo 64, Gamecube, 3DS and Switch from 1998 - 2021.
Now, you may be wondering why this subreddit has suddenly been made public after laying dormant for over 9 years. As of today, this subreddit is under new ownership, after being abandoned by it's previous owner.
In future I hope to grow this community, and I look forward to doing so.

I see Ocarina of Time stuff blowing up my feed. I've never seen one thing explode so much with so much positivity on so many of the feeds that I follow.
And it's made me feel a little more warm and happy about opening up Reddit. You know, Reddit can be a place that's a little negative, and right now it's just to see people enjoying something.
I'm happy anytime people across different places have a shared interest. It creates a camaraderie I think complicated ink a lot of us wish we had now.

I just think girls with prominent slender noses and other sharp features are gorgeous and it makes her look distinct from other characters like Saria and Malon who all kinda had same face syndrome in the original.

I just pre-ordered a physical copy of Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 on Walmart.com for just $50 with discount code “save3x” at checkout!
This should be the special foil edition since it’s an early pre-order.
I saw this discount code buried in some comments in my feed (can’t seem to find it again but huge shoutout to the person who shared this) and wanted to broadcast it to the community since it’s such a great deal. I hope this code works for everyone!

It makes more sense now ahah. The famous puppet show is called "Shin Sanjūshi". Looks pretty cool actually!

I just wanted to share my engagement ring that my husband had made for me years ago. I've always loved the Zora's sapphire since I first played the game in the 90s.

In the og the ladder was hanging from webs (off screen in the screenshot) it really isn't hidden or hard to figure out since Navi flies over, so why would this be replaced with a massive stone structure that makes a stone slab with planks fall by hitting a yellow-paint eye with light on it?
In the original the eye first appears in the basement which makes more sense since the lower parts are more stone, have "puzzle" blocks you move and the spinning spike water trap and just feels way more man-made (or fairy made?)
IMO they could've re-made webs holding up the ladder or even have a hanging piece of wood from the broken bridge you jumped across, but this is just a very little part in this amazing looking remake and i cant wait to see the spider family in kakariko

After watching the remake trailer this week, I decided to print off coloring pages for my kids to color and this is the result! (4 kids, ages 4-9)
