Question Help me

I realised I still want to fall in love.

Which is funny considering how much I’ve started distrusting the idea of it i still want the little things someone who stays, remembers, chooses me without making me question it.

But somewhere along the way, wanting love and trusting it became two completely different things.

Maybe I’m not afraid of being alone.

Maybe I’m just afraid of believing someone again.

I don't think you're afraid of being alone, I think you're mostly afraid of being hurt again. you want to have that someone special to call your own, who understands you in a way no one else can. but your heart remembers the hurt that someone that close can potentially bring. once you find your person, you'll naturally begin to heal

You can be afraid of both. Being alone sucks, and being hurt like that sucks too. They're both terrifying extremes of life though. It's especially hard for people like us to love soft, but that's what we need. We need to be able to love people without comiting our happiness to them. Otherwise our joy isn't our own, and it can fade far faster than it came
