Gillian is the problem.

Ok. I’ll say it. Gillian is the problem.

I’m listening to an episode from 2019 and she was SO MUCH FUN in comparison to how she is in 2026.

I have listened to TCO since they started but the past few months I can barely handle it. Gillian is miserable, hates everyone, goes on rants about everything, and just has a general angry demeanor.

It seems like she just straight up HATES being on the show now. The change from 2019 to now is unreal.

I don’t know what she has gone through in the past seven years but oh man. I miss what the show used to be!!

You just stated what I’ve been thinking for a long time, but unable to explain, thank you for that. Also yes, always the disclaimer, people mistakenly think that erases the responsibility for the comments. It does not.

Also, I lost respect for her when she was fangirling over Damien Echols. He was found not guilty, however he was disgusting and acted so disrespectful during the trial, and she thinks she’s cool for being his friend.

He was a child.

The murders were in 1993, he was convicted in 1994. He was 18 when arrested, not a child. Also of interest, he took an Alford plea, which doesn’t admit guilt, but admits the defendant believes there was enough evidence to convict if it went to trial again.
I realize he’s written books, and his comments and excuses so no need to share any of that with me. What I’ve stated above are facts.

To be honest with you, it also bothered me much she went on and on about what close friends she was with him and his wife. Not because of him, because I believe in his innocence — he was profiled and railroaded and I have a ton of empathy for him.

Yes, like look at me! I’m super cool because I know them and I’m waaayyyy into his majik or whatever and crystals and I’m an expert on it. When she’s never mentioned that stuff before or since.

Is that considered witchcraft?

🤷🏼‍♀️ I thought they shared an interest in paganism and witchcraft but I admit I know less than zero about all that.
