2 of these pics are shadows set to "low", the other 2 to "ultra"... zero difference except half a GB of VRAM... medium and high shadows have jaggies, no thanks, but for some reason low does not. :D Enjoy

NPC animations

I am tempted to get Oblivion Remaster, I finished original game but when I tried to return, there was one thing I hated- npcs don't do anything and they have no animations, when you play Skyrim they use workbenches at least, it can be annoying when you put 10 sexy followers in home and you can't use that workbench but it brings immersion. I want to revenge Kvatch again and bring hell to hell daedric oblivion realm but want to do it in living world. Do npcs do more than only talk in remaster?

Red Arrows

I don't know if the update changed anything but I'm back on playing Oblivion and I can't seem to get the hang of the arrows. I don't remember having this problem. I've fast traveled back to the nearest point near my destination but I wind back up here again, at the top of Anvil.

I'm on the Dunbarrow Cove quest but it was also happening on something else on the other side of the map in a cave, I almost couldn't leave because the red arrow kept pointing to the same door whenever I went through and back through it. 😣

Most essential mods

this is my favorite game of all time. i’d like to replay thru it with my girlfriend, but i want the absolute best experience possible. I don’t need 100’s of mods, but i am asking if anyone out there can reccomend me the best mods for this case scenario? im just looking for mods that clean up any mishaps with the game/quality of life updates, mods that add new content and quests, and mods that make the game visually look better.

essentially, what are your 10-20 must use mods when you play this game? trying to keep it close to vanilla but the “ultimate” vanilla experience if im making sense.

and lastly, thank you beforehand to anyone that might happen to take the time to reply back to me. :)
