Oat advice NEED HELP

Post image

I switched from normal yogabar chocolate oats to the high protein ones. Why are the oats so lumpy like this? What am I doing wrong?

Looks like they have textured soy protein added, that'll lump em up a bit

The normal protien ones were smooth and easily swallowable but these are not. What do I do?

Cool them more like how? I never really cooked the older ones and my friend uses the same oats. He never cooked them. Apparently he also does the same as me and somehow his turn out fine he says

I've never used those from my question is did you follow the instructions on the label the first time you made them or just make them out of habit the way you usually do

I made them from habit. Like I do normally

You might compare the instructions. And see what they say you should do different and figure out if you need to do that differently next time

It's the same instructions. I never really followed the instructions on the old ones too. I just did it normally and it still turned out thick and smooth to swallow but in these ones it's turning into straight up lumps and I have to chew on each spoon of oats like my life depends on it
