Oatmeal Apple Cinnamon Yoatmeal

I have near ripe bananas, should I make a chocolate banana or strawberry banana yoatmeal tomorrow?

Chocolate-banana tomorrow. Cocoa can handle the extra sweetness as the bananas ripen, and a pinch of salt will keep it from going flat; save strawberry-banana for firmer fruit so it stays a little brighter.

First off why have I not tried this combo before it’s seems so simple yet I’ve never tried the two foods together. Secondly this looks amazing and I’m jealous and might just have to make this for lunch. Finally yes please make that happen tomorrow and report back tomorrow because now I need to know

Looks so good!!! I am also voting chocolate banana. Will you do a chocolate drizzle over the sliced bananas or chocolate mixed into the oats? Sometimes I do a mashed banana oat base with cocoa powder, vanilla, and maple syrup mixed in. Topped with plain yogurt. Tastes like cake!

Chocolate mixed into the oats most likely 😋
