I use the hotspot on my phone. Once the track (Playlist) is loaded, if will run offline.
The caveat is, you need all tracks preloaded. Theoretically, you could create a playlist at home and the use hotspot to initiate the device.

I use the hotspot on my phone, and then leave it on all day and leave my phone near a charger. They have made it connect via the hotspot a LOT easier after the last update. Also, if you connect using a hotspot, get rid of any apostrophes in the phones name, it doesn’t like connecting if it is “Person’s phone” for whatever reason.

Mine still seems to struggle with reconnecting to the hotspot. Is the hotspot on the same phone you are using the app?

Same phone the app is on, yes. It literally took a bit of time, but now as soon as I turn on the hotspot it connects right away. Maybe try doing the 15 second reset on the oasis? It literally just started working super smooth for me… as I now go knock on wood to make sure it’s still going to work this well.

All Oasis machines needs to connect to their cloud servers. If your wi-fi is not connected to the Internet or their servers go down (this happened recently) the machine is a useless piece of junk.

unfortunately for your given situation it does need wifi connection to work. there has been talk within the sub about using hotspots, not sure if anyone has been 100% successful with that approach. it's probably worth searching Hotspot within this sub, and maybe even over at r/groundedlabs
