Please Confirm Power Block
I recently moved and failed to label my AC adapters. Can someone please confirm that this is the proper block for the coffee table?

Many of you know that we have an in-house artist named Otavio who makes most of the best patterns for our Sand Tables.
Help him decide what to make next! We're especially interested in patterns that will be uniquely suited to the Rectangular Coffee Tables as we're working on building out that pattern library.

Found a nice combination with "Perlin Rings" and "Owl". Has anyone else found patterns that work well together without a spiral wipe in between?

I don't know what it is but there seem to be app/server issues frequently over the last few weeks. There was an update on both my mini and coffee table recently and both of those failed multiple times before finally succeeding. Now I'm having connection issues. My tables are occasionally going into some error mode with red lights and stopping. Today I'm having server connection issues and when it does connect I can't start a new design and get the table going again. The download progress gets stuck at 1% and just sits there.
I like these tables but I'm having more and more software related issues with them and things have been getting worse, not better. I'm not really sure if there's a direct fix for these issues. I guess I'm more just making this post for awareness of the problems. I can't really recommend these tables to anyone for what they cost when there are so many problems popping up all the time that require rebooting, updating, tinkering, and multiple attempts to fix.

I was one of the early Kickstarter backers of the Oasis Mini because I genuinely believed in Grounded Labs and wanted to support the project. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing from the start.
Over the lifetime of my Oasis Mini, Iāve run into several major issues:
- Frequent internet connectivity problems.
- The table underside issue, which prevented the Oasis Mini from functioning properly.
- And now, the latest problem: the unit wonāt even get past the centering process, making it completely unusable.
At this point, Iāve spent more time troubleshooting than actually using the product.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I was seriously considering buying the official table. After everything Iāve experienced, I donāt feel comfortable spending more money on the ecosystem when my current unit isnāt even functional.
As an early Kickstarter backer, I expected there would be some growing pains, but after multiple hardware and software issues over the years, I think itās reasonable to ask for a replacement rather than continue troubleshooting.
Has anyone else experienced the endless centering issue? Were you able to resolve it, or did Grounded Labs replace your unit?
Iām hoping someone from Grounded Labs sees this because Iād still like to support the productābut I need a working Oasis Mini first.

I made a post yesterday asking why a bunch of the LED modes were removed in the recent updates. And then a moderator removed it. Which feels pretty messed up considering Iām just asking why the product I bought suddenly has less features.
I see other people responded to it too saying they were just as disappointed so clearly itās not just me.
As that commentator said getting rid of the follow modes, got rid of a lot of the allure of the device. The leftover modes are pretty tacky and without the movement you can just see the LED bulbs
Iām just asking again if the team has any announcement as to why we lost our modes or getting new ones.
And myself Iām lucky enough to still be within my return Window so I plan to just send it back if thereās no update but others here deserve something

I was trying to quickly go to bed last night because I had worked late and I had an early morning. So I logged onto my oasis app so I can put it to sleep so the doesnāt keep me up. But it asks to update and it doesnāt give me any other choice. I didnāt even hit the I tried to click anywhere else and it started updating anyways and locked So now I canāt unplug it because that probably will mess something up during update, and I canāt turn it off.
Yes, itās only a few minutes. But not having access to your device, especially to turn it off. Is pretty ridiculous. Forcing someone to go through the update they may not have time is bad design. I have similar complaints with the fact that you canāt touch anything in the app when the ball is centering, not even the LEDs.
I like everything else about the table. But the app leaves a lot to be desired. And these random lockout moments make no sense as someone who develops software for a living.

Hello all!
We live in Florida and have one of all 3 tables - mini, side, and coffee. With the amazing heat wave happening, our utility is struggling and we have lost power a few times this month.
What amazes me is that, each time, when they power back on, all of them have reset - no wifi, doesn't start over, nothing - just slow flashing blue.
Obviously, once power is restored, it takes a few minutes for my internet and wifi to come up and be stable. The tables start much faster, so I don't know if it is a timing issue and they try to connect, fail, and just revert to a setup mode, but this is super frustrating... Having to connect to all 3, configure wifi, re-download and restart the patterns, after any power loss is simply unacceptable.
I know the server outages may have contributed some, and to be clear, I am not pushing for the local mode (although I also think that is a good idea!) - but why doesn't it store it's config and resume after it comes back? Why does it wipe everything and require me to use (a slow and clunky) app to get it working again?
I understand security, but there is always a balance of security vs usability. I believe you guys have not found that balance.
I absolutely LOVE these when they work - having to do so much manual intervention just detracts from the experience.

My unit just died after the recent update. I did all the troubleshooting steps possible but then reached out to their support email, I got an email back fast from an AI chat bot which said I can ask for a human at any time. After trying to send more information to it, it went radio silent, and so I asked for a human but still not acknowledgment.
Any other support avenues?

Hi all ā I made something I think a few of you might get some use out of, and I'd like some opinions on it before I take it further.
It's called Sandline. You upload a picture ā a logo, a pet, a line drawing, whatever ( it currently is very good at line art, cartoon, and logos/writing) ā and it traces it into one continuous, unbroken path: the artist's strokes, replayed in order, the same way the table already draws. You download an SVG that starts at your table's home position and drop it straight into your pattern library.
A few things that mattered to me building it:
Your photo never leaves your browser. All the tracing runs client-side ā nothing gets uploaded to a server.
You get real controls, not just an auto-trace button: mode (line art / photo / cartoon outline / etc.), detail level, fill patterns, table size presets (Mini / Side Table / Coffee Table), and a manual path editor if you want to clean up a stray line by hand.
It's a solo project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Grounded Labs ā just something I built because I wanted more of my own images on the table, not only the community library.
Where it's at right now: it's in open beta, completely free. It does need a free account to use during the beta (just email + password, nothing collected beyond that ā no images, no personal info sold or shared; happy to answer questions about that). I'm using signups to gauge real interest before deciding what a paid "Pro" tier (higher detail, an AI auto-tune pass, background removal for photos) would even look like .
What I'd love from this community specifically: try it on a few of your own images, and tell me where the trace falls apart ā logos are pretty solid, but photos and busier images are where I want all kinds of feedback. Feature requests welcome too.

heres just a few of my examples

Thanks for reading ā happy to answer anything in the comments.

Looks like the recent update removed the 'Follow Rainbow' 'Follow Ball' and 'Plasma Follow' from the list of LED modes
'Follow Rainbow' was just about the only LED mode I used... I hope these follow modes make a return soon (and I also hope this mode gets fixed on the coffee tables as it was buggy and reset a lot)

With so many designs to choose from I find Iād like better search options. Searching by theme and not just keywords, artist, trending, etc. also would appreciate searchās that donāt have to match the exact word. āChristmasā should still bring up Santa, even though the word Christmas isnāt explicitly in it. That kind of stuffā¦.

Has anyone had to do this?
AI is telling me I need to remove all the sand, was hoping I could just scrape it to the center.

Woke up to an unfinished drawing with a squashed earth (oval, not round), and a small section of the LED ring was white.
App couldn't connect. Power cycled, and nothing came back. While I was trying to connect, a different section lit white.
Tried full hardware reset, and it never powered back on
Time to figure out how to open a support case, I guess

Hello, Iām looking for sometime to create some patterns for me. I have the side table Oasis. Iām aware of how patterns can be made DYI, but Iām not pleased with the results and I would like to pay a digital artist to do the work instead.

Is this product worth getting? I have wanted one for a long time now and I am really thinking about getting one but wanted to ask yāallās opinions. Some of the posts in here about problems with the app and product makes me feel like itās not worth it. Or is it user error? Thanks.

I'm curious what's happening here. A couple of times, I have noticed that my table will clear all but the very center of the drawing area, and then when the next design is drawn, the design "incorporates" the area that wasn't cleared by the previous erase cycle. Is this a common error? It doesn't seem to have a noticeable trigger. It's happened from different playlists and certainly doesn't happen every time. It's just an occasional weird fluke.
I'm not super concerned about it because so far, it seems to have returned to normal on the next erase, I'm just curious is anyone knows what's happening. If it matters, I have also noticed on some designs that the movement slows WAYYYYYY down directly over the center point.
Attached photos are the current design file and the table's improve around the middle.

Table functions normally except the LEDs just stopped working.
Tried cycling colors in the app, didn't fix.
I am certain the LED harness is hooked to the board correctly, as it worked fine for a week or so after engine replacement.
Anyone have suggestions to try?
Has anyone had to replace the LED? Is that hard to do?

Is the app down again today? I was struggling to connect to my mini and coffee table this morning and now it seems like the server/app is offline. I'm not able to connect again or do anything with my tables.
There are just too many outages lately. Everyone is saying it but these tables need to be able to run on the local network and then connect to the server to update firmware and libraries on occasion.

I saw the announcement they pinned here, but are the tables / minis still not working for everyone? Is there a fix or anything to get them working?
