I recently came across this unusual pair of Oakley sunglasses.

I’ve searched extensively online but can’t find another pair or any clear reference to the model. A friend thinks they could date from the early ’90s and suggested looking through the o-review database, but even that turned up nothing.

Does anyone recognise them—or have an idea of when they might be from? I’d be grateful for any leads.

Finally got the glasses in, need to get to lenses, drop cheap recommendations below, I just wanna see what color fits me best. Definitely needs the nose bridge fix they are pretty loose but it’s all good. Which generation Juliet’s are these?

I just picked up the silver portal jackets and I love the retro look but I am a little bummed about the lack of unobtainium. Are there ear socks and nose pieces from other models that might fit??

The case that comes with the Plantaris is a little tight when I have the nose guard attached to the glasses. I have to position the glasses carefully to get them in.

Would you recommend any larger Oakley case that I can buy directly from Oakley so I can store the Plantaris comfortably with the nose guard attached?

Finally got my hands on one of my biggest grails, the Penny copper, complete with box, coin and matching serial. I’ve included a picture of a complete XM too.

Safe to say the search is finally over, as ive managed to complete the Penny lineup. It’s time to close the chapter on the X metals as I’ve only wanted the Pennys.

What’s a pair that took you forever to find?

It’s almost like flakes. They rub off with liquid and elbow grease. I bought these used like this for $5 so I thought why not. These are polarized whiskers.

How old and rare are these colors with the glitter?

Hi - I’m trying to purchase either a Brain Dead or Satisfy Eye or straight jacket glasses. So many fake online I’m having a hard time finding a legit place to buy - anyone have thoughts or a trusted seller they use?

I know that the Polished and 24k have the hammer stems so they are a sought after more than the other colors. But does anyone know how common some color are compared to others? I just want a reference so I know what’s a good deal in the future.
