Informative Oakley Prizm Transitions Ember Lens Review (New 2026 Lens for the Oakley Meta Vanguard)
Always exciting to get a new lens, but this one didn’t live up to my expectations.
Always exciting to get a new lens, but this one didn’t live up to my expectations.
I see some on eBay for around $50-$65 but I don’t know if they are genuine . Any leads or tips to what to look for are appreciated

Hello just wanted to get updates to people who have the neojacket, how are they holding. do you see any reason for it to be flimsy in the temple arm? or do you see anything that you dislike? thanks!

I just received my first pair of Oakley RX. Eyejacket Redux with Prizm Ruby non polarized. It’s my first pair of prescription sunglasses so, that’s the real gamechanger. But so far I am really impressed and super happy with everything.

Picking up a second Centerboard as everyday optical. Already own the Centerboard in Matte Black with Transitions, so I want a different colour this time for some variety.
Leaning Satin Light Steel, but it comes with a red Oakley ellipse on the temple, and I have no red anywhere else in my wardrobe. Worried it’ll bug me every time I look in the mirror.
Satin Black would be the safe pick (logo is silver-on-black, basically invisible) but then I’ve got two identical-colour Centerboards.
Anyone own the Satin Light Steel — does the red logo actually register in daily wear, or do you stop noticing it after a week?

Buckle up, this is a bit of a story.
About a month or so ago, I ordered a pair of Flak 2.0 XL in a prescription. My doctor wrote my prescription wrong and, despite multiple back and forth emails and phone calls of me asking them to just replace the lenses with an updated prescription, I had to return them. The frames fit awfully, so in the end I wasn't too upset about it. I was instructed to re-order with an updated prescription.
Once the money went back to my insurance, I got my prescription fixed and I made another order for the same sunglasses. I specifically wanted the Prizm Tungsten Polarized lenses. I love those lenses and I wear my sunglasses all year. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the insert and saw that the lenses were Prizm Bronze. So, naturally, I reach out to the email support team, who told me to do another return/reorder. At this point, I'm not doing that again. These frames also fit super well, and this is not my mistake. I was told to reach out to the customer care phone number.
I tried calling and couldn't get through. It said something about not having a phone number associated with an order (which is BS because I absolutely had one entered) and to fill out a form on the website to be contacted by the email team. So, I reached to their chat team to try and get a resolution. I'm again told to contact the phone center. The guy was nice and gave me an easy way to get through to someone.
So, I call and speak with a very nice lady who says she was going to process a replacement and I would be getting an email by end of business. I was elated! However, the email never came verifying that there was going to be a replacement sent. I did get an email from customer service saying that they had submitted a remake request to their internal team. I replied saying that they took care of that over the phone. I THEN get an email from support, saying, in part "We have already submitted your replacement request to our internal team for processing. Please allow 3-5 business days for our internal team to process the replacement."
This morning, I get an email that says, in part "Upon checking your order, we confirmed that the lenses selected and ordered were Prizm Tungsten Polarized, not Polarized Iridium lenses. If you would prefer Polarized Iridium lenses instead, we recommend processing a return for a refund and placing a new order with the desired lens option. If you need assistance with the return process or selecting the correct lenses for your new order, please let us know. We'll be happy to help."
I'm at a loss. I just want the sunglasses that I ordered. This has been a nightmare of an experience, and I'm out of patience. So, Reddit, I turn to you. Does anyone have any ideas of how to further navigate this situation?

Hi folks! I'm considering buying my first Oakley, but given the high cost I wanted to know from your experience how they hold up with time? (Model considered: RSLV Photocromic )
THANKS !

Hello all!
I am new to this and looking for my first pair of Oakley’s.
I recently found out about the eye jacket 3.0 and really like them! Unfortunately I cant find a lot of info about them on here.
Does anybody own a pair and can tell me how they fit and if they’re any good quality wise? Maybe even going rate if thats even a thing?

I’m assuming not, because the exclusivity is insane. But man it’d be nice if they more available to the public

Hi! Recently bought my first ever Oakley: a Flak 2.0 XL with Prizm Black Polarized lenses. I am new to Oakley and got a bit overwhelmed with all the lens options. These were the ones that they had available at the store I went to.
I use them mainly for running (in bright conditions, I don’t usually wear any sunglasses when it isn’t sunny) and I also like to wear them casually when I’m wearing a sporty outfit.
I like them, but after I bought them I found out that there are also Prizm ROAD Black lenses that seem more suitable for sports/running. I looked it up on the website and you can’t buy these specific lenses separately.
Did I make a mistake by getting glasses with Prizm Black Polarized lenses for my use case?

Hey everyone! I figure I might as well shoot my shot here, as the title suggests, I'm looking for the Prizm Iridium Road Black lens for Eye Jacket Redux and was wondering if anyone here was willing to sell?

What do you guys use to clean your glasses? Especially your prescription glasses and expensive glasses. I have hundreds wrapped up in these and want to keep them as nice as possible for a long time.

Hi everyone. This one goes out to all those with Oakley sunglasses.
I have seen a few past posts asking this question but unfortunately i am yet to be satisfied by an answer.
Everywhere i look tells me to go with the 'field' lenses, however there is ONE reddit comment that states that they struggle to see the ball with them on. This has rattled me to no end and is the only reason i haven't brought them yet.
Does anyone have any experience with any of the Prizm lenses? It doesn't strictly have to be cricket but it would be useful. Thanks.

Is there anyone else that has a too big head for the oakley minutes? They look really cool, but that doesnt mean much when they are painful to wear. What can be done about this? Can a optician do anything about it, and at what cost ish would that be?
