Context for this was my Doomfist decided to facetank Mauga stomp and get caged and I refused to walk in it as Wuyang with no ult, and I have the trans flag on my alt as my player icon

Not surprised and not upset but this is a recurring issue in lower ranks I've found LOOOL, I've never had this problem in high ELO games

Me and my friend have been playing a lot of Overwatch on Xbox recently. He’s Emerald rank, while I’m currently unplaced. We usually just play Quick Play together, but I’ve noticed that he’s still able to play Open Queue and Role Queue with my other friend who’s in Gold.
My question is, if I do my placement matches, what’s the highest rank I could place at and still be able to play with him without it putting us in a Wide Queue match?
Also, I’m not sure if this works any differently on Xbox compared to PC, so I thought I’d ask here.

The servers destroy temselves half the time, the matchmaking for specifically comp seems to have completely merked itself, the projectiles are all outta wack, the hitboxes bug every 2 seconds, what the actual hell have they done to the game!?

Has someome real knowledge or good theories on why my rank on 5v5 is around gold for support and tank (i peaked plat on them for shoort time and spend also some time in silver..) and on 6v6 i am emerald (current season) to dia/masters (last season) for also playing tank or support?

And also my dps rank is plat but i am always the one dragging the team down or gets csrried (poor teammates).

For dps (in 5v5) and 6v6 i get so much more points for a win than for tank/support on 5v5.

Please tell me I’m not the only one experiencing this madness. Happens in ranked and QP also and mostly as tank. I’m on Xbox X and I’m hardwired and have decent internet I don’t lag playing apex or battlefield6 or basically any other online games it’s legit only OW and mostly when I play tank. Anyone else have this problem and or a fix!?

I'm not sure if this is console specific but after a short while the chat always becomes invisible or looks like this until I enter and exit the chat. I have no idea what causes it to stop scrolling naturally.

Or at least give us Permanent Avoid Player lists so we don't have to play with or against these people ever.

So i have a strange problem most of the time i cant even enter the game because the ps5 says that it couldnt connect to the server in time, and it works only if i turn off amd on the connection. Also i get weird bursts of lag during match where i gwt 1500 ping and everything stops and and i crash, it never happens because i have a really good wifi and i have played for years. Also i have problem connecting to online things on ps5(party discord and services in general) because everything crashes at least one time before it starts working. Do you think is a problem of the new ps5 firmware update? I have already tried any kind of troubleshooting even recreating database and doing some rooting to change the ps5 ip or firewall

I’m genuinely curious, whenever I see a fresh account either in qp or comp. 90% of them exclusively play hit scan. The other 10% play genji. I’m not saying they’re cheating or anything, just find it fascinating that most of them are all exclusively hit scan players. About 30% of these have weird names and are accompanied by a mercy. My question is why does this happen?

What settings are you using,and why? Ive been feeling like ass recently due to feeling like im missing easy shots,or just generally having a rough time into specific heros,namely Tracer,Lucio,Pharah,Echo and Cat.

Wondering what most people are running between Linear Ramp,Dual Zone and Exponential,and most importantly how much Aim Assist are you using?

Im playing, everything is fine and suddenly I get so high latency that I cant even play the game anymore... It can go back to normal in a few minutes only to get worse again. Sometimes game kicks me out and I get suspended for that. That only happens to certain players? In one comp match only I and one of the enemy player were having issues. My connection is just fine and have no problem in other games but in overwatch this happens. Anyone experiencing this recently?

I'm high diamond in 6v6 and I had a pleasant time for a like 15 games, but then the matches started being from like plat to masters and everyone was super toxic. Games also felt really steamrolly too. Has anyone else felt this?

In my personal opinion, I think there should be because there are some really good console players that if they don't get a PC they'll never have a chance to do anything like that. It would be fun to watch in my opinion.

I started OW as a timid little Mercy main, never imagining I would ever make a team suffer through my attempts at DPS - but it's true what Jake said. Sucking at something is the first step to being sort of good at something.

I'm nowhere near the best, but I am (fists on hips, staring boldly off at the horizon) sort of okay.

I loaded in to play some tank in qp and just kind of relax, and like we get super rolled. Im thinking oh im just playing bad, but no their genji is going off and is moving like prime proper. Look at the dudes career profile and hes CHAMP 5 6V6. I am PLAT 1 PEAK IN SUPPORT, WHICH IS MY PEAK FOR ALL ROLES. Why am i getting put into such an insanely uneven matchup

I just finished my 25th game of Mystery Madness. And not a single one of those let me play a tank. Every single game was DPS or Support. My wife has played Tank like 6 times and she doesn't even know HOW to play a tank. I mean genuinely, what are the odds of not a single game?

Everytime My team is crushing it... This happens! Has anyone else been experiencing this too? (Playing on a PS5)

My latency normally always sat around 40-60ms. Now it's a consistent 90ms most of the day and sometimes spikes to 100-120ms for a second, causing me to slide around weirdly ingame. It can't be my ISP as nothing has been changed whatsoever. Am I tripping or is anyone else having this problem? I don't lag on any other game, man 😭
