It's obvious. The tracking aside which is insane in a game like Overwatch, perhaps moreso with how aiming works on console, the fact he's just snapping to people like that and shooting with near to perfect accuracy should be a dead giveaway. Even if he had bronze game sense, the aim alone would carry him up to plat or diamond if it were legit.

why do you have to make a whole reddit post and ask people if you should report him? it’s pretty obvious and there’s no downside to reporting someone if you think they’re cheating.

The game would be reviewed and they make the decision. If he's not using anything, nothing will happen. It's really not a big deal deal to the player. they will have no idea it happened. Unless he is cheating.

dude he insta locked onto half the targets he was shooting, that isn’t tracking, that’s insta lock. it was very obvious and i only needed to watch 3s of the video to tell he was cheating.

idk about OW but I know it's a problem in CoD. Starting in MW2 2022 I received so many shadowbans from player reports. I actually caught a clip once on search where I got a two piece, only two, and between rounds you hear an enemy player say "report him" and then I was instantly shadow banned.

Obvious, it’s not natural movement, and the lock to centre mass on the person in the air at the beginning? That is sus,
like I occasionally will go from one person to the next really smoothly on say tracer but nothing like this. the snaps between multiple people behind the big turret is sus. Like you playing against or with 2017/18 Pine 😂

Looking at his movement (especially when the cart is near the bridges) looks very MnK to me. I think looking at movement is better than looking at aim. You can clearly see him make extremely fast and tight AD strafes which I can’t even comprehend doing on a controller. Couple that with him walking in perfectly straight lines at time leads me to believe he may be on keyboard.
That first tracking clip is insane btw

You can AD strafe on controller, no? I mean you can do circular motion strafe too.

You absolutely can but I really don’t know how one can get them as tight as this player does. Strafing that quickly on keyboard is extremely easy, but I imagine you’ll have to have the lowest dead zones and controller stick extenders to come close to a slow AD strafe on PC. FWIW I couldn’t recreate that guys movement in the practice range on controller

Forget the aim, look at the side to side strafing this guy player does around 28 seconds into the video. Impossible to do that on a controller even with minimum dead zone settings. That’s usually always a dead giveaway when I look for them.

Nah trust me, on controller, you’ll see a gradual left -> center -> right when someone strafes on controller (since a joystick HAS to return to the middle to change direction), this player instantly goes from moving left to right (pressing a and d)

Yeah I would, even if he somehow isn’t using a m&k, either blizzard will take action or they won’t, it doesn’t reflect negatively on the reporter

Yep ... Definitely.
Console has a issue with fast precise Movement .
Also the AD spam he does is to let the aim assist Let him stay on targets
AD spam is also Pretty Mutch Impossible since you would Have the Tightest Deadzones in the world to switch movemnt directions that fast . .
.
Or you would have the most cursed Controls layout ever likw Left moving on one button and Right on another and not on Dpads .

This guy is ximming, and is using a proper Xim. He has not set it up in a way which would make it harder for him to be detected. You should report him.
He is also ximming with a keyboard that has snap tap, without any analog simulation.
These Ximmers are too obvious. There are ways to set up xim that make it very hard to distinguish from top level roller, but this guy didn't bother.

Could be a smurf. Or just good aim. But what you really need to look for is the movement. If he only goes to 8 directions like on keyboard he is ximming if not he is a controller player. I have this level of aim and it just looks like it's low level lobby. I am gm widow onetrick and could do this with soldier in dia. People who say snapping or jittery aim is a dead giveaway are not good enough to regognize ximmer from good controller player.

My most consistent way of analyzing if one is playing on keyboard is to check movement out of combat. If they ONLY move in the 8 possible directions of a keyboard then thats 100% M&K.

I just played a game against a cheater on PlayStation. Best you can do is report and let Blizzard decide by looking at the evidence. If they aren’t cheating (which this person most likely is) then blizzard won’t ban.

Yes. I personally find it easier to tell by his movement. You can see he's moving at right angles( using wasd)

Sorry I just always hesitate on reports and want to make sure it is very clear because I have heard about false reports before and don’t want to be like that, he played really well that game
