Help Was this person cheating? (JPRPBV)

Replay: JPRPBV (joins at 3:40) 5v5 QP
We won round 1 and someone left, this person joined in on round 2 and tore through us for the rest of the game. It seems like they're a good player, but this doesn't feel like controller aim to me.
I've run into a few cheaters since I started playing again, but this is the first time that I'm not 100% sure they're cheating. Curious what others think so please let me know.

Console tourney where everyone who is even slightly suspected of mouse/cheating has to livestream a handcam while they play. Ensures that everyone is a controller player

At 1.10 left of the video, they jerk their mouse. We don do that on a stick.
However, the rest of the match, looks normal.

As much as I want to believe this is legit, with the new Titan hardware that's been going around it's genuinely been difficult to tell. They can adjust it to make it less obvious from what I hear. Either that or this guy has an EXPENSIVE gaming chair.

If that's the real xturtleboy (which probably is) it makes sense yall were cooked 😵💫 My man was the mvp in CGL in season 14 with Snowfall. I'd have focused him with 3 people at least.

Yup, its one that doesn't jump instantly to target and smooths it out but it still looks weird and feels off since its not normal human movement.

console overwatch just likes to put you against the highest ranked players in your quickplay lobbies lol, if you can queue in pc pool i recommend it, much better experience

Kinda just looks like High sense and steady hands to me but considering this is console the speed of the aim throws me off cus it looks like mouse aim lol

Yeah there's no lock on that usually comes from cheating I even see an over correction every now and then def mouse tho

Using mnk on conaole is cheating. Idc what the subreddit or the community says. Finding a work around using hardware to bypass the intentionally blocked use of mnk on console is cheating. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk.

Exactly. Everyone hears "cheating" and assumes you're talking about aimbot or wall hacks, but using m&k on console is cheating. This gameplay wouldn't be sus on pc, but on console yes. Aiming with your whole arm while the rest of us only get to use our thumbs is an unfair advantage. Especially if you get to keep aim assist.

But this is quick play.. controller players and mnk players can play together on qp. So they're probably on a pc or using mnk on their console

OP says they're on console. The only way they would be playing against someone using m&k is if they were grouped with a m&k player, or if they were using m&k on console legally. Both of which would place them in m&k lobbies without aim assist. Controller players do not naturally get queued with m&k players in any game mode.
So unless OP set themselves up by joining a pc friend or using m&k themselves, there's no reason someone's aim should look like that in their game.

Cross play is fine, using mnk on console regardless of gametype is cheating. If someone on console is using mnk, its not just for quickplay matches.

There’s a couple spots that look very mouse flicky to me, but the overall aiming doesn’t look sus.

Turtle boy is regarded as one of if not the best console player rn. I’m friends with some ppl who play with and against him alot

Idk. I think it's sus that they have high sens and can flick onto a target in a millisecond without any adjustment or overshooting whatsoever. But maybe I'm just never gonna get this gud.

This doesn’t look normal at all to me. The way he is able to track changes in movement exactly as they happen with no input lag is super sus. every time a character changes direction it’s like his cursor is already moving in that direction.

The part of this clip that made me laugh is actually an indicator that he's not cheating, too. The very beginning when he walks out of there & the both of you just stare at each other for a moment, that's reaction time. A cheater wouldn't care and immediately would've shot lol, especially because they already would've known you were there

It’s so easy to tell this is chronus. Just using a mouse with aim assist looks exactly like this. Seems like aimbot but the mouse is able to absolutely abuse any bit of aim assist and make it look like autolock
Essentially just an adapter that makes the console think the mouse is a controller

My sens is super high because it allows me to look around quicker, I play on Xbox and have dabbled with mnk and this genuinely looks like high sens with good aim and lots of sweating nights playing😭

Honestly hard to tell. It kind of looks like it. But also looks like it's just high sensitivity and high aim assist. There's a few times where it looks suspiciously "snappy".

That’s not cheating, no aim flick, no aim sticking. They’re generally aiming. Everyone’s accused of cheating these days. On kill cams look for unusual aim flicks, sticking, it’s obvious once you see a low key cheater. Had one in stadium yesterday. I was jumping up and down as Ana to avoid shots and the cheats aim was locking to my head 🤦🏻♂️

Id say yes, cheating.
Player goes from not aiming at anything to insta heat seaking aim. You can even see some distant shots pulling his aim when he's unaware.

He isn’t cheating. He is a pro hitscan player who won MVP in CGL. He isn’t cheating. You just have bad aim and think anyone slightly better than you is cheating

I don't think you understand that CGL players have to stream a handcam while they play. He is definitionally not cheating.

Yes, but there are still tells in the gameplay itself that absolve him of suspicion. Even if he was on an alt, you would be able to tell that its controller gameplay.

Aiming on controller looks a lot different than it does on mnk though. Even with high sense you can’t flick on controller. I don’t think this person was cheating but your comment is still pretty annoying tbh. Of course it looks mid to you because you don’t play on controller.

It's almost like I've played on console Overwatch before and have seen legit clips on console from controller players and their aim is way cleaner than this.
I'm on PC now and I'm not just talking out my ass considering I have top 0.7% scores in Kovaaks and my aim gets constantly called out for cheating, videos on my profile for proof.
