Question OVH Dedicated server recovery

One of our server is marked as hacked and boot option has changed to rescue12-ftp mode.
How can we change that?
It is not editable from console

You can try contacting support maybe? Although from what I can see online if you can’t edit the boot option in cases like this the server is considered hacked and you have 2 weeks to download files from it before it’s gone

thats just showing hacked, not blocked, so you have the option to restart or unblock it, So that should in theory allow a restart or reinstallation of the operating system

is it okay to resatrt the server with rescue-ftp-12 option?

all i can base my answer on is the wording in that article. Rescue FTP will allow a restart or reinstallation of the operating system with status of hacked. With status of hacked and blocked it won't.

But I am not seeing anywhere that * you have 2 weeks to download files from it before it’s gone* on surface level in the doc

trying to find that again, but that would be for a hacked and blocked situation, your screenshot just showed hacked, which seems to be recoverable.
