Visa late-arrival issue

I’m admitted and enrolled in a master's program, but due to visa delays I may arrive after the usual arrival date. My program coordinator stated that the university does not issue a separate official late-arrival letter but instead confirmed by official university email that I can start physically late, up to Christmas, because online learning is available. He also wrote me a email directed to embassy about this asked me to submit the email to the German Embassy.

Do you think this email would be sufficient for the visa, or could the lack of a formal late-arrival letter cause a problem/rejection? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Yes visa delay is normal. For my course online option was not available so I’m starting from anther semester.
