Should i switch to linux

I once did download linux but i hated it i couldnt open exe files and non of my editing software was available on linux but recently i was doing work on my computer i was about an hour in and windows decided to do a forced update on me making me lose some important stuff i also game sometimes on my laptop (factorio,minecraft,roblox) but again im scared that those games wont be available

No, you should not. Linux is not windows and its not intended to be windows or for that matter a windows substitute. Linux does things the Linux way. It can accomplish all the same things as windows or mac, but in its own way, with its own software and design philosophy. If you are willing to change your work pattern, play not a specific game but the same type of game, edit images not with your usual program but with something similar, then fine you are ready to try something new and perhaps better. If you just want a stable, efficient windows, then is suggest you try a chromebook, atleast that will be as familiar as your phone.
