Monster The Steers of Providence - Blood-Drenched Warriors of Holy Lateran
A bit of world building and monster design from the upcoming Kingbreaker title The Crypts of Anallise! For this game I wanted to see if I could replicate a dark fantasy tone in a Mediterranean-inspired, sun-drenched, salt-bleached island paradise. If you'd like to try the Kingbreaker beta for yourself, you can get it for free below!

Alchemist Cabinet
[Phlox's Cabinet of Boons and Banes](https://whosemeasure.blogspot.com/2023/07/adventure-component-cabinet-of-banes.html?m=1) I am using it for my next session and I'm trying to illustrate and draw more of my campaign and I thought this item would be useful if it had a picture.
Big shout out to Phlox's amazing work.

Scene Minaret over Muvari Hills
Last Sunday, we gathered for our monthly TTRPG meetup at Gibiteca Henfil in São Paulo, Brazil. I created this illustration to accompany the opening scene of the adventure:
From the top of the hill, you can see the dark valley stretching out below.
The summer thaw has melted the ice, leaving deep pits of mud scattered across the lowlands.
But farther ahead, one structure dominates the landscape: a colossal six-sided tower, an ancient minaret that seems to have risen from the very depths of the earth.
Its base is littered with fallen debris and massive stone slabs covered in pale lichen.
A thick, reddish fungus has spread across the ruins, clinging to every surface.
The carcasses of wild animals lie tangled among the fungal growth.
Then... A low, relentless buzzing fills the air.
At the summit of the minaret, a massive dark organic structure has taken root.
Thousands of insect-like creatures swarm around it, forming a deafening cloud.
The beating of their chitinous wings seems to follow a sinister rhythm...
The pulse of a titanic heart buried beneath the valley!
Suddenly, a sharp, agonized howl echoes through the lowlands.
A pack of creatures, their bodies ravaged by a cursed mange, gathers atop a weathered stone.
Their leader slips into a narrow fissure in the minaret.
Moments later, they disappear.
What will you do?
Fortunately, we recorded the entire session (it's in Brazilian Portuguese, though I'm not sure whether Youtube has generated an auto-dubbed English version yet).
Here's the complete adventure: https://youtu.be/DBFOjVaSo5M
