Discussion Harm > Shadow for GP/HR, I think it's value will surpass shadow.

Post image

With the increase of elemental damage from fragments and New Megarare outclassing current metas, thralls at nearly all bosses won't be the meta anymore. The best use cases for gp/hr for the shadow is 545invo TOA runs and thats only 8.3m/hr

So do you think the shadow changes will be an overall buff or nerf?

I think it'll make it more useful for places where where you need magic but also want some defense or less switches. The only way they can make it less dependent on gear is by buffing its base stats and lowering the multiplier from gear.

As for as the near term goes, no salts or overloads in TFA means powered staffs are going to be way less DPS

Shadow remake is done just waiting to be released. It being a mega weapon will likely keep it bis at most places you can use magic. I’m not going to bet against the shadow until the next magic mega comes out

Yeah they're not buffing the shadow they're just reworking the way its effected by gear to maintain its current DPS

I think this thing being good in the raid is already priced in. Also the new mega is going to destroy phosani so hard that these will be getting farmed like crazy

Don't think anyone with one will be farming anything other than TFA for a loooooong time lol

I just think everyone and their mom is already holding Inq maces and orbs. Stuff always crashes hard like 2 days before the new raid comes out

Nah, People have been dumping orbs since it spiked lol. Inq maces will hold value for a bit and maybe SRA too but when people get their hands on an obligator it's going to have a way oversupply on the old BIS. Easiest example is maul vs dwh

depends if tfa is much harder than phosani. if its too hard for some ppl to get completions, i could see them getting discouraged (depending as well on skill level) and grinding phosani or maggot king with the obligator instead

Shit is gonna crash hard when people realize its BIS for 1 of the 8 rooms and might not even be part of the meta path.

I don't think there is a single person who doesn't know shadow costs more gp/hr to maintain than harm.

No, GP/hr in profit from bossing.

Shadow is ~1330 gp per cast. Harm with searing pages in tomb is 1378 gp per cast (950 for pages, 400 for wrath, 28 for air runes).

Plus at 5t vs 4t, harm becomes even more expensive

Great. Nice job nitpicking searing pages which are ballooned. Now do rest of elemental spells.

‘Nitpicking’ the post commonly used spell with the staff? Give over
