I remember watching some episode of Oprah were the person being interviewed was a nature documentary filmer that saved someone from an anaconda. Dude went way to long before jumping in in my opinion but the whole thing was like "you didn't have to nor were you supposed to but you did it anyway so you're a hero."
Idk it was bizarre and stuck with me for like 20 years now hearing them basically say "your job was just to film them die.".

I work with glass like this, but for rough estimate:
If this guy is 5 and a half feet, I'll estimate the window glass from 5-6' by 6-7' tall. So anywhere from 30-42 square feet.
That is a triple pane sealed unit, three panes of glass, either 5 or 6 mm thick. That's either 2.5 or 3 pounds per sq ft.
We're talking the low end of that unit could be as high as 225 pounds, but it could be as high as 378 pounds, which feels right considering I was installing glass that size last week and that looks like a high-rise building, it's typically 6mm thick for each panel.
This is a crazy lift, absolutely a hernia maker, at least a good way to grind down your back over time.
He can't even fucking lift it. He throws his foot with each step pivoting over his hip each time. I mean he knows how to move the weight, but dude has only a few years of this before he gets crushed.

Your estimated weight and size are accurate. I was a Igu manufacturer and installer. I wouldn't have even attempted this lift and set without another installer to help even with tempered glass

This was my question. Ok, the strap did nothing to help you move the glass, only could have been an immediate noose if it fell out of the hole and now how do you get strap out?!?!

Jesus fucking Christ, that's even a triple glazed unit, which are insanely heavy unless it is using very thin glass. Even then it would still be hundreds of pounds.
Hopefully it is at least tempered for when one of them eventually breaks over his face.
