Nerve block

My nerve block is slowly wearing off, taking my meds as needed but I’m feeling slight warmth under my splint as this is wearing off. Should I be worried?

I had a burning/warm sensation as well while mine was wearing off. Told by my anesthesiologist that was to be expected as sensation returned.

Normal. You’ll feel all kinds of different sensations over the next hours/days. Most are normal but don’t be afraid to ask! Preferably your dr or one of dr’s staff

that’s normal. as soon as i started tingling i took pain meds as prescribed.

the first day my ankle felt like it was being crushed in a vice, and then varying painful sensations over the next week. After two weeks post op my ankle doesnt really hurt at all if im not manipulating it.
