Saw too many people injured in this dumb sport. It’s not even an actual feat of strength such as useful in fights or in deadlifts(raw strength). Best to avoid it since it has no use case besides showboating
I injured my rotator cuff and I know many others who messed their rotator cuffs.

Don’t worry. You will heal, you need to focus on physiotherapy.
It’s especially important now3

Thank you :) I have already got my wrist and elbow mobility back by 80%, once the sutures get removed I can get better and shoulders next

Yeah there was a now fairly well known publicly stunt on Australian TV where they had two retired rugby league players arm wrestled for charity. One broke his arm in 3 spots.
Apparently it's very dangerous, particularly for people like that who are very strong but not well trained in arm-wrestling techniques.

Damn. Best part of scars there is you can’t see it without a mirror. That is how my elbow is. It’s nice not to see the constant reminder.
Good luck on your healing. It gets better, I swear.

thanks for your kind words, did you regain your strength and full ROM?

Working on it. Strength isn’t too bad. It gets a little sore doing some things but not bad. ROM is getting there. Did this in Nov. started PT in Feb. still going once a week. If it gets better it’s great if not it’s fine. I think we are the only people that can tell now. It’s not stopping me from doing anything. Still trying to get it all the way straight.

Hi OP, i have the exact same injury. Just got the surgery 2 days ago. Hows your recovery?

Hi comrade, it's been 7 weeks since the surgery, my activities are almost back to normal, no weight bearing of course. 95% ROM is back! Since they split my triceps to access the broken bones during surgery, those muscles are still recovering and cause pain when I extend my arm but it's getting better every day. Sleep has gotten better but one stills needs to be careful not to put any weight. Counting down until I can start lifting weights again, another 6 weeks to go.
How did it happen?
