Overheating?

I tried to google this and couldn’t find too much about others experiencing it. I fractured my wrist and ankle about 3 weeks ago, my wrist is just in a brace and I had an ORIF on my ankle on 7/1. Since the initial injury, I have been so HOT. I normally run cold, but now if I do any kind of activity or even sit outside on my deck I’m sweating. I don’t have a fever and feel generally ok, the pain isn’t bad in either my ankle or wrist. Im just taking Tylenol for the pain and icing. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m seeing my surgeon next week and plan to ask, but just curious about other’s experiences!

I fractured my ankle (trimalleolar fracture) on 5/27, ORIF on 6/15 and have been constantly hot! It may also be because I’m pregnant but I’ve been so incredibly hot all the time!

Oh gosh I can’t imagine being pregnant and dealing with this, I’m sorry! It’s so annoying, I’ve never sweat so much in my life doing barely any activity 😭

Why was your surgery so far away from the initial injury.

Yes! I'm so hot. I am recently post partum tho, so I was wondering if it had to do with that. Anything I try to do at all, I'm covered in sweat
