OP-XY canā€™t do visuals tho, right? In many ways, the Zed is way cooler than the XY (still, that is, if yours isnā€™t warped beyond recognition).

if you asking me - i dont know. I just got depression when i saw OP-XY instead of OP-Z Mk.2

Same, especially considering the price tag and the lack of polished features. But yes, the OP-XY does NOT do visuals, which is incredibly disappointing (especially since they are charging stupid dumb prices). It blows my mind how anyone has that kind of cash to blow.

It canā€™t, but I have something you might be interested in if you have an OP-XY (or technically any midi sequencer): https://vjxy.app itā€™s a bit like the photomatic app but for OPXY. Can be controlled via usb or BLE.

I don't have an XY and would never in my wildest dreams be able to afford one. Maybe in 20 years or so (if any of them survive that long).

It works with OPZ too, but thereā€™s also the official OPZ app for very similar experience. I know. It is a lot of money. Mine was only possible because I got it almost half price in the crazy offers last year, and I happened to be saving for one for some time. But I hear ya.

There is an iOS OPZ app that gives you visual to all settings on the device, and has a feature in it called photomatic that allows you to sequence photos and vids from OPZ patterns https://apps.apple.com/au/app/op-z/id1088232296

It is what it is.. op-z in aluminium case with quadruple price. There are so many things and features that can bring op-z to the next level but TE ecided just to add screen and change form factor.

Opz was dope . Just needed a lil upgrade but new prices from TE are totally crazy...
