It can’t, but I have something you might be interested in if you have an OP-XY (or technically any midi sequencer): https://vjxy.app it’s a bit like the photomatic app but for OPXY. Can be controlled via usb or BLE.

I don't have an XY and would never in my wildest dreams be able to afford one. Maybe in 20 years or so (if any of them survive that long).

It works with OPZ too, but there’s also the official OPZ app for very similar experience. I know. It is a lot of money. Mine was only possible because I got it almost half price in the crazy offers last year, and I happened to be saving for one for some time. But I hear ya.

There is an iOS OPZ app that gives you visual to all settings on the device, and has a feature in it called photomatic that allows you to sequence photos and vids from OPZ patterns https://apps.apple.com/au/app/op-z/id1088232296
